Why such a small brush for the tube? It's useless.
I love the brush for the bladder itself, but Camelbak, can you explain why the long brush for the tube has a brush on the end that is significantly smaller than the inside diameter of all of my hoses? I don't know how anyone is supposed to get a good scrub of the inside of the tube with this brush. I am giving it a two star rating on the large bladder brush alone. The tube brush is useless.
Cleaned my Osprey bag like a charm. The straw-brush fits perfectly and is the perfect length and the cleaning tablets worked really well.
Game Changer
This has been a game changer for me. My 3L CamelBak is now super easy to clean and keeps the water tasting nice. There are probably cheaper ways to keep your reservoir clean but there aren't easier ones.
Old CamelBak, new CamelBak Cleaning Kit
My CamelBak is fairly old. I don’t know if there is a cleaning kit available for it, so I bought this kit. Apparently current CamelBak models are modular, they disassemble into easier to clean parts. I made it work as best I could, but next time I’ll research for a cleaning kit appropriate for my aged model CamelBak, or replace my CamelBak.
It falls short of the task it is designed for
Falls short, literally. The cleaning brush is too short to reach out to the end of a tube for a Crux reservoir. Since the hydration reservoir does not have a quick connect at the bladder attachment, there is no way to get the far end of the delivery tube clean, which was the purpose for buying the item.
Could be better
The piece that holds the reservoir open while its drying doesn't sit flat. I feel like it's going to poke a hole in the back of the reservoir, because it's only being held open by the bottom/rear corner. The brush doesn't fit down to the bottom of the reservoir. And the tube cleaner doesn't go all they way through the full length of the tube. And it only fits through one end of the tube, but not the other. All in all, disappointed. I shouldn't have bought the entire cleaning kit.
Dries the reservoir, but
I do wish Camelbak included this with the pack and reservoir. Other than that, it helps to dry the inside of the reservoir. What I'm most disappointed in is that the tube brush is several inches too short. I can't reach the mouthpiece end and I can't push the brush through the mouthpiece without bending the brush or cutting the mouthpiece. Huh?
Great cleaning kit for camelbak reservoirs
Works well with camelbak reservoirs. You can use the tube and bag brushes for reservoirs of any brand, but the angled bag brush works great when used with camelbak reservoirs as the angle fits perfectly with the round opening of the bag. The hang dryer works best with reservoirs like camelbak with the round opening. Does not work well with top opening bags such as osprey.
Piece that goes into reservoir
Piece that goes into reservoir is sometimes tricky to stay in place and not fall out of reservoir. It could use some tweaking or new design. Otherwise it is better than the way I used to keep it open to air out. I would make a cap that is only a ring with a center that has a stem with a mushroom end that pushes the reservoir open. simple and quick to install.

Should have bought this earlier! Once I figured out the drying hook that goes inside the reservoir, I am happy to stop stuffing my reservoir with paper towels to allow it to dry fully!
