decent for the price
decent value, a little on the thin side for the material. pad is a thin pad, but that's not a bad thing. pads are a personal preference. I bought size large. I wear 34 to 36 jeans and have a 30 to 32 inch inseam. bibs feel comfortable but are maybe an inch or 2 too long. I would still recommend for the price.
Decent basic bib knicker
Standard weight nylon spandex good for temps 52 - 70. Perfect add to kit bag for fall and spring mornings that start out cool and warm up. Comfortable on several 50 mile rides with thin cushioned road saddle. Medium fits my 5'10" 150 lb body snugly but not too tight. Bottom grippers are snug on calves but they ride up to the top of the calf eventually - OK since they amply cover my old knees. likewise the bib adds some welcome extra warmth for my lower back on those chilly days. Would buy again.
Runs a little small
Not happy with the fit. I am medium for every piece of cycling clothing I have. This one is very snug. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi full Bib tights and the over-the-shoulder part is mesh. It has more give. For these, this is all the same material and I don't like the fit. I am glad I only bought one.
Material was thinner than I expected.
Title says it all. The material felt thinner than I expected.
Not the old P.I. quality
Fit was very poor. Legs were very loose and leg grippers useless. Bunched up behind knees when riding. Also, knickers are a "cool" weather clothing item. The material on these was thinner than any bib I've ever owned.
Subpar quality
These are the lowest quality PEARL iZUMi bib shorts imaginable. I will never buy another pair of PI shorts given that I can get something with significantly better quality for fractionally more money. The chamois is horrible and the shoulder straps aren't comfortable.
Bibs ar3 the best
Fits well - bibs don’t pill down so 8n the cold you stay warm.
