Not well suited for curvaceous bodies
This harness is lightweight and made well, but since it has very few adjustments, it didn’t work well for me. The difference between my waist and hip measurements is 11 inches, so if you are less curvy it may fit you better. The leg loops are one size and they fit my thighs, however the waist was too large even when it was fully tightened. This was an issue when ascending the rope because the waistband of the harness didn’t stay at my waist. I tried shortening the elastic that keeps the leg loops from falling down the back of one’s legs, but that was uncomfortable in a different way.
Very comfortable, large sizes
I recently bought this harness online. I used the size chart, and I’m at the high end of size S. I decided to go for S, luckily, because it’s quite roomy! I can easily fit a fleece and climbing jacket under it. This is good for my purposes as I sometimes climb in colder places. If I was at the lower end of size S, this harness would be too big. So my recommendation is to rather take a smaller size if you are in between sizes. For references, I’m 175cm tall and waist is 74cm. On the bright side, this harness is very comfortable and I love the features. I have not tried it in action yet, but can’t wait to do so!
Comfortable fit
I got this harness in March and have taken it to the gym, the crag and on multi-pitch routes. I find the leg loops to be very comfortable even though their not adjustable (which I typically prefer). The gear loops sit in a comfortable position and thankfully don’t slide out of reach when weighed down by trad gear, like my previous harness had done. The wide waist belt makes hanging in the harness reasonable comfortable.
The most comfortable harness ever!
This is by far the most comfortable harness I’ve ever owned or tried, and I’ve tried a lot. For the first time ever both the waist belt and leg loops fit me properly - no more fully cinching the waist down while the leg loops are maxed out. The longer rise between the leg loops and waist belt allows it to sit at my natural waist and comfortably on my legs at the same time. When hanging in it I’ve never once felt the discomfort, pain, or pinching that is common in other harnesses. The gear loops are sturdy and are designed to sit slightly flared out from your body when worn which makes racking up a breeze. No more missing the gear loop with a carabiner because it‘s sitting completely vertically.
Light, but has a low rise
After trying several different harnesses I decided on the C-quence. It fits ok (and better than other light harnesses I've tried), but the rise is still quite a bit low. I could have used at least 3 cm higher rise (preferably 5 cm). Had to go with a size m which is snug around my thighs (57 cm) and is on the big side around my waist (73 cm) when tightened. Not a problem when wearing it with my Proton hoodie. On the positive note it is light, comfy (for a light harness), compact, good gear loops, and there's plenty of space for loads of layers in the waist belt :'-)
Quality Material, sizing off
Bought this as as gift because I own a 395a and love it, and this is the successor to the that harness line. The materials and construction all felt and looked top notch, unfortunately the sizing chart seems to run really small. My girlfriend measures between 28-30 for waist size, which should drop her within the medium range, but after trying it on as well as the small it looks like the one that would actually fit her is the Extra Small. Unfortunately that links to the other problem with this particular harness, it seems like supply is rather short.
Sizing way different than FL-355
I wore the FL-355 for years and years and loved it sooo much. I was excited to try the sequence harness and it just doesn't fit the same. There is something in the length of the connection of the leg loops that makes it very bunchy feeling and uncomfortable. It just didn't fit me the same at all as the FL-355. Unfortunately I had to sell it - bring back the FL-355 ! I will say the waist sizing seemed the same and the gear loops and fabric seemed great, but the leg loop sizing and connection to the belay loop were much larger and uncomfortable.

Awesome harness!
I love this Arc'teryx harness. Honestly, I was initially hesitant about the lightness of this harness as I've been climbing in a harness with more padding which - psychologically - feels good. However, after trying this on, I am in love with the comfortable fit and mobility. The webbing is easy to adjust through the automatic double-back buckle and feels secure. The leg loops are adjustable and comfortable as well. Overall, I am happy with the fit, mobility, and lightness of the Arc'teryx Women's C-Quence Harness. I recommend giving it a try!
Disproportionate sizing
This would be an amazing harness, if the leg loops weren't enormous. I bought the small, and it fits perfectly around the waist, but I could easily fit my whole hand in with my leg in the loops. For reference I wear a size 25 in jeans/US 2 in most pants. I'd imagine the XS would be too tight in the waist, especially for layering over jackets, but they don't have any stock for me to try.
Super light and comfortable
I have been wearing this harness for over a year and it excels at all climbing styles: sport, trad and multipitch climbing. It is very light weight and packs small without sacrificing comfort. I have lower back issues and am so happy to have found a harness that is supportive enough for my back when fully loaded on multipitch routes. The redesigned gear loops prevent gear bunching, making it easy to get to the piece of gear you need. The large haul loop is great for clipping all the extras I need for multipitch climbing. When sitting in the harness, I find it puts me in a comfortable sitting position. The harness still looks like new with heavy use. I did have to size down to an XS from my usual size S, so it is a good idea to try this harness on in store.
