Pretty solid cool weather socks
Received free product
I can't wear these (I'm in a size M13) but luckily they fit my 8 year old great. As such I'll defer to her for an honest review. Here are her positive bullet points: -They're warm and cozy -They're good for winter and with boots -They're comfortable all day long And her downsides: -They might be too warm for summer -The colors could be brighter (to be fair I think we have the "boys" blue and brown") Overall she gave them a 4.5, which I told her wasn't possible. Given the choice between 4 and 5 she opted for 5. Time will tell how well they wear, but knowing REI quality (and return policy if necessary) I don't suspect we'll be disappointed.

BIG
Well, I bought the kids medium according the the sizing chart. They are comically big. Heels a good four inches up his leg. So, seem otherwise like fine socks and we shall put them away for fifth grade (currently in kindergarten). Will update review in 2025.

My active boys love these socks

Received free product

Our two boys, 13 and 11, are super active. From cross country, wrestling, basketball, to track, there is something every season. There are few socks that hold up to their daily wear and tear, but these have taken everything that has been thrown at them. The boys like the fit, and find them comfortable even after a day at school and practice. Equally important is that they are made from recycled content. No small task to keep up with hard charging kids, but these have risen to the occasion.

Kids Didn't Lose These Socks

Great colors that allowed these socks to remain unique in a drawer of black dress or white sport socks. These remain my son's favorite socks, and work for sport or trying to dress up ;)

Great for hiking and everyday wear.

Got these for my daughter and she loved them so much I'm getting a couple pair for myself. They're a nice thickness without being thick (if that makes sense) and wear great so far.

Extremely big

I don't understand the sizing chart. I ordered s/m for my son in size 13, sizing down per reviews that they run big but they are still extremely big. I got them on sale for $4 so I'll put them away for in the future. They seem nice and of good quality just extremely confusing sizing.

"These socks provide a good combination of warmth, comfort, and breathability. I’ve been wearing them around the house inside my slippers, running errands, biking, and they’ve performed well and felt great in all scenarios. They fit well and don’t bunch up."

Great Hiking Socks

I am an adult with kid sized feet. These socks fit so nicely and are the only ones I wear hiking. They are thick and show no signs of thin spots or holes after many wearings. This is the second pack I have bought!

Nice fit

My child really likes these socks. They appear to run a little big as far as sizing goes but seem to of great quality. Will likely pick up more for hiking. Decent color options.

Comfy and smooth

Not stretchy, but fits right. Smooth texture, but not exactly soft (nor scratchy). Has that cooling affect from synthetic materials. I like it and got a pair, but relative took it, so I got a second pair. It’s for kids, but the large sizes fit adult women and kid colors are more fun.
