Thermacell  Backpacker Mat-Only Refills - 48 hrs.

A must have if you have one of these systems. Only complaint is the package itself, there have a been a few times when the little slit they provide to open the package tears off in a weird angel and doesn’t let the blue tile out as easily. But the product does work really really well.

I’ve been using a thermacell on my patio for several years. The mats use to last 4 hours as advertised. I would go through butane cartridges quicker than I had to replace the mats, now it’s the other way around. The mats are turning white after only an hour to an hour and a half. I’m not sure what has changed with this product but it’s getting super expensive having to constantly purchase more replacement mats. So disappointed because the product works great it’s just not lasting the 4 hours as advertised anymore.

I placed this in my tent vestibule before sacking out, works great to clear critters from tent at night, not so much out side of tent in a slight breeze.

Good for keeping the mosquitos away. Use it at the campsite all the time

We have used this product for a few years now, my husband was telling who knows how many people this is the only product that truly works. However, there has been a change this year. The pads Do Not last 4 hours, not even 3 hours anymore, if you’re lucky, you’ll get 2 hours. We even purchased a new lantern thinking it might be the heating element. Didn’t change the longevity of the pad. Unhappy….

I have used this device on numerous occasions and it appears to deter mosquitoes. The reason I say “appears” is because I have not tried it in a mosquito infested environment in windy conditions. There were a few mosquitoes around but not enough to say that it is really effective. Be sure to let it run for about a half hour prior to exposing yourself to mosquitoes.

They work great to keep the mosquitos away and you can visibly see when the pads need to be replaced. I also have the usb thermacell that uses the liquid inserts for my patio, it works great as well.

Effective for mosquitos and other flying insects. Lasts for perhaps 12 hours in my experience. Color change to show reduced effectiveness helpful. Excellent for our back yard usage. .

The Backpacker Mat-Only Refills work in all THERMACELL devises. It would be very nice if the Earth Scent Mats would be sold separately too! The
