not a versatile fit

This pack seems to be loaded with awesome features, and I wanted to love it, but I must return it. The main dealbreaker is that this pack seems to be sized for people with smaller torsos. I'm 5'11" and when I tighten the arm and hip belts, the hip belt sits well above my belly button. This is not only uncomfortable and dorky, but also completely nonfunctional for anyone looking to use this pack for a hike or when you're walking long distances with a big load of travel clothes in this pack. The hip belt pocket is also completely useless. So, great idea by cotopaxi, but I think like most hiking backpacks they need to create multiple sizes for different torso lengths, and if not, just lose the hip belt altogether (it is not detachable).

Perfect travel backpack system.

This backpack was ideal for our trip across China. We did a 10 day four locations trip. Being a large man I was concerned it would fit my clothes and all the things needed for travel. But I was pleasantly surprised. We used suited nomad compression sacks and everything fit wonderfully. I’m 6’3” wear XL shirts L pants. I was able to pack 6 pants, 7 tops, 7 pairs of socks, sandals and hiking shoes, the 18L bag, full toiletries, outlet converter, sleeping mat, and camp towel. We felt these packs were ideal for carry-on bags and they were plenary comfy to wear while we walked to our hotel/hostels and to and from public transit. We used carabiners to attach our batac packs to our larger packs but we found that it would be better to have just the one pack when traveling. Overall these were comfy when fully loaded. Held everything we needed. And looked good while we did it. The bags held up great through two international flights with layovers, two regional flights, one overnight train, and many taxi/bus/train rides. I Highly recommend this pack for the traveler who doesn’t want to deal with baggage claim or lost luggage, and who wants to move quickly through airports and public transit.

Best traveling bag for Spirit airlines

I bought this bag because I was taking a trip through Spirit airlines. If you know, Spirit airlines only allows a personal bag on for free. I saw the measurements online for this bag and it was perfect. I was able to pack a weeks worth of clothes, shoes, and other beauty products and essentials. This bag fits so much and it keeps everything organized with its built in dividers. I am so glad I decided to spend the money and get this bag because it is true my worth every penny. Hands down the best travel bag for when you don’t want to pay for a carryon.

Allpa 35L Travel Pack

Absolutely love the color combo! It's everything I could hope for in a travel backpack since I'm a heavy packer and it's basically a suitcase. Love all the adjustable straps and padding as well, completely customizable for everyone!

All the colors!

Got this travel pack as a surprise for my girlfriend, who is a classic over-packer, and she is thrilled. The Allpa is amazingly strong feeling, which simultaneously being very light. So much space! And it comes with many well thought out features, like the rain cover and the handles. Perfect pack. The big winner of the set, however, was the Batac Del Dia daypack -- the features on this bag are wonderful, and she packs it full of everything she can possibly fit inside, and it still performs amazingly well. It's by far her favorite day pack. Even packed full, it feels strong and light. And it has all the colors... I can't recommend this enough.

Great pack, couple draw backs.

I travelled across a few countries in Europe with this pack, and I continue to use it now as my rock climbing pack. It has lots of excellent features and served me well during my trip to Europe. I never had any issues fitting it on planes as my carry-on, and it easily held everything I needed for my trip. The two main downsides are that the "clip-on" water bottle carrier is not secure and inconvenient as it swings around the pack, secondly, I am only 5'10" and the waist belt is still too high on my torso. The pack has held up great so far, having taken it on several other domestic trips as well as many times to the crag to carry my rope and gear.

35L pack

After much debate and denial, I finally replaced a bag I had had for 15 years with the Cotopaxi 35L. After 4 days in Europe, I’m already LOVING my choice! It’s decivibg/ it holds way more than I expected. And the front pocket is big enough for all my goodies I could need accessible on a flight. The bag fits under my seat. The only downside is no water bottle holder on the outside. Wish that was built in.

No checked bags!!

We purchased 2 Allpa 35L and 2 Allpa 27L for our family of 4 for less than the price of checked bags for our next two trips. Our 6 and 8 yr olds carried their own packs and we checked no luggage for our 9 day trip! So happy with the function while on the move and the organization compartments when living out of it. Great products for a family on the go!

The only travel bag you’ll ever need!

I actually ended up ordering the spruce color when it came back in stock but I can still talk about this bag! As someone who loves being organized & efficient, this is the PERFECT travel pack. I’d say it’s suitable for around 5 days of outfits if you’re using the large zipper pocket for clothing. Can fit more if you use other space. The amount of pockets & zippers help keep everything organized throughout your trip, instead of items being thrown quickly back into a duffle or suitcase (we’ve all been there). I bought some of the Del Día packing cubes, which helps keep me even more organized. It’s super comfortable to wear and walk around in and waist straps are padded. Would highly recommend this product!!

Great Pack Trip Across Portugal, Morocco, Gibraltar & Spain

My wife and I each carried everything we needed for a 30 day trip through Portugal, Morocco, Gibraltar and Spain in these packs. My wife is 5 months pregnant and I'm almost 60 years old, having undergone neck surgery earlier this year. The packs held up very well, even being filled to the limits such that we were concerned the zippers or straps might break (but they didn't). They were easy to carry-on planes and easy to pack and unpack. Due to my neck surgery a few months ago, and my wife's pregnancy, I was worried about us carrying these heavy packs for a month, but it was no problem and the waist straps allowed us to shift the weight from the shoulders when needed. We are very pleased with our purchase and plan to use these every time we travel anywhere.
