Hooray for the llama
I cannot WAIT to go on vacation and take my cute lil pack with me. I got it for carry one overflow, and guess what it’s going to double as? A hiking pack. Why not shove some water and trail mix in this bag? People talk about the straps being tiny, but they’re adjustable, so not sure what the deal is there.
Perfect for my son
I don’t have to worry anymore about my son’s personal bag. He packed everything he needed, including medicines and all his electronics for a week-long trip. It was very functional and high quality.
Cute & Functional!
I wanted to find a carryon that may also pass as a personal item for international travel. I also wanted something that I didn’t have to roll as I often take public transit and prefer the ease of getting off and on with a pack. I originally was going to go with a larger size, but keeping it lightweight and simple is important, so I snagged some compression cubes and think I can easily pack a week’s worth of clothes with mindful packing. Love that it opens like a suitcase so I don’t have to dig around to find things at the bottom like you do an ordinary backpack, and it matches the hip pack I purchased. My first Cotopaxi did not disappoint!
Travel pack
I bought this backpack to use as a personal item my 3 week trip to Europe. I needed a backpack that would be able to meet the airline requirements and also that I could use for additional storage. It was the perfect backpack size and it was really easy to get through TSA using this pack. I like the way the backpack is split into compartments because it made getting things out of my bag really easy. I also got the Cotopaxi packing cubes that helped me organize my liquids and additional items in my backpack. I was also able to put the backpack on my luggage when going around the airport. I would say the only downside for this backpack would be is the support. I wish there was an additional waist strap to help with the weight distribution on my back. Other than that I really loved the backpack.
Versatile
What a wonderfully versatile backpack! I was hesitant to purchase a backpack because I'm not a big person and I was concerned I would look like a 1st grader headed off to school with any pack on my back. This one is perfect and I am delighted that it is not huge and cumbersome. It holds everything I need to carry on the train or a plane and it fits underneath the seat in front of me without worry. The quality is fantastic and I know I will get many years of use out of this bag. The colors are mellow and not masculine like bags that are all black or dark navy. Love it and highly recommend it to women and men as well!
Light Travel Pack
I bought this for fast and light international travel and to avoid paying for carry-on fees. I have an Allpa 32, and I was hoping this bag had the same anti-tamper zipper pull protection as the 32. It would be helpful if the shoulder strap padding were a bit longer. I’m 6’ and medium build. The side pocket bottle holder is excellent. Overall a great quality Cotopaxi pack,
The Allpa Mini 20L
The Allpa Mini 20L Travel Pack is the perfect size—compact yet spacious enough for all my essentials. The design is stylish, durable, and very comfortable to carry. Highly recommend!
Extremely Happy with 20L Travel Pack
I purchased the 20L travel pack so I could carry on all of my luggage for future trips and avoid checking a medium-sized suitcase. I considered the larger travel pack, but I felt it would be too heavy for me to carry comfortably. I’ll need to do a bit more editing to make everything fit into my carry-on and this 20L pack, which I’ll use as my personal item—but after a test pack, I’m confident I can make it work! I love that it opens clamshell-style, which makes packing and organizing much easier. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase.
Nice pack, could use a few small detail improvements
Nice size pack. It’s a hair big for European ‘personal item’ on flights, but I’m going to chance it and figure I can squeeze it in without a problem. I like the design. A nice add would be a waist strap that can be tucked away or removed as with the Elqui. I wish it had a sleeve on either side for a water bottle and sunglasses case on the other. The bigger improvement is the need for a tab to help steady/pull the sleeve when putting the bottle in. The sleeve is pretty narrow so this is really needed when getting a standard tall bottle in.
Great Travel Pack for Kids!
I ordered these for my two kids, ages 5 & 7, for when we travel. They can carry all their own stuff through airports (and beyond!) on their backs without having to deal with roller suitcases. As a parent, I also love the bright colors to easily spot them in crowded places. The pack perfectly fits my 7 year old, but is a little big for my 5 year old; we just have to make sure he doesn’t pack it too heavy. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone who is looking for a small clam-style travel backpack…either for themselves or a kid!
