Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

I haven't used them yet, so this review is strictly based on sizing. I am a 20-22/2X in just about everything, and I tend to like my clothes to have a little room in the waste, so not super tight. The model's waste size was 32", which I'd say is much smaller than me and she is in a size 2X. The top of the same kind runs really small, so I went ahead and got a 3X. Big mistake. They are huge on me. If their sizing is not completely off, then a 2X will probably still fit me loose, and I bet a 1X would fit snugly, but still fit. So, if you are on the fence about your size because of the model, then don't be.

Durable and works well as pajama pants!

I love these tights. They fit me well and are so comfortable. They work well enough as a base layer. Please note that I haven't tried them out in super cold weather but they should work fine in the 30s at least (I'm from Texas). They are definitely more durable than one of the REI branded wool lightweight base pants I have which developed holes after being used 2 times. I would recommend these as pajama pants as well. What is nice is that the material is a little slippy. So if you toss and turn a lot these will move with you rather than catch on the sheets.

I highly recommend sizing down! I am a size 20/2x in everything, and I had to size down to a regular XL. Luckily I was able to try these in store! They are cute and comfortable and I’m excited to wear them on our CO trip next month!

Awesome as base layer or pajama bottoms

These are awesome sleeping pants or for lounging around the house. Another review describes them as "weirdly baggy leggings," and that's pretty accurate. I bought them in my real size for that reason, and I love them! The material is thin, smooth (making it easy to slide pants over them), and breathable, and the ankles are snug enough to keep the legs from riding up.

These work great, not binding (on an odd-shaped bigger gal, not an insignificant concern) and kept me warm. They run really big I found. Like I’m an 18 and the XL was a bit roomy.

Comments about sizing down are spot on. On paper I'm a 22 (2X) but I normally have to get a 3x cause I got a booty. The 2x fits me PERFECTLY. I am also 6' tall so these are just above my ankles, which isn't a problem for me as a base layer item. I love the fabric and can't wait to use them!!!!! They take up very little space and will always go with me in my pack/bag for camping out.
