Perfect reservoir

I need a water bladder to force myself to consistently hydrate and carry enough water on hikes/paddles/climbs, etc. However, my last several bladders were very easily punctured. This is the solution to all of my water problems! I'm obsessed. Bulletproof case, keeps water cold when it's hot, takes ages to freeze when it's cold (I recommend blowing water out of the tube to delay freezing), easy to attach to bags and throw around. I've never left a review on my life, but this one of my favorite pieces of gear. Buy it!

Nice insulation

I like it, it has the insulating feature which is nice to keep your water cool but I also learned another wonderful benefit that I hadn't thought about before experiencing it myself, the bag is super useful in keeping your water actually water. We were backpacking at 7,700 ft in freezing temps and my hiking partner's water froze along with our filtering bags, aside from my tube freezing, the insulating bag helped ensure that we had water once we were able to set up camp, it was quick enough to thaw the tube and have water again.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I was looking for an additional hydration system and have used Camelbak products exclusively. However, being the gear junkie that I am, I bought this product based on reviews and am always looking for a better product. This system does not disappoint and is far superior in ergonomics and quality to my other systems. More importantly, the Camelbak Crux tubes fit onto this bladder, and if I ever need to replace a tube or connector in the field it is reassuring I have extras that I already own. Well done HydraPak, well done.

Great for below freezing temperatures !

Performs great in cold weather been down to -20 this week and it didn’t freeze when inside my pack surrounded by spare clothing. I upgraded to the more insulated tube which also performed great. The valve design worries me a little I’d like it to be larger but so far great !

Cold water all day

My husband and I needed reservoirs for our hiking honeymoon to the PNW and Hawaii, and I purchased one based on high reviews. The packaging lacks directions regarding user operation (how to fill, maintain, clean, etc) but besides that, this is an excellent reservoir that kept our water cold for DAYS. Performance was perfect - no leaking or spilling. Other users mentioned that this could be turned inside out for washing but it feels too delicately engineered to withstand that.

Very solid water resevoir!

I bought this other day and just got back from a hike with it. I'm a big fan of the refrigeration pouch that also protects the water reservoir itself. The material used for the bladder is also much thicker than other reservoirs, so I'm definitely not as worried about holes. The plug in hose allows for easy storage and cleaning, and the zip close top allows for easy filling with little to no spillage. The actual nozzle is very tight so you kind of have to find the sweet spot to get water out, but once you do, it will quench your thirst quickly and coldly. Even now, 2 hours after I got back from the hike, the water is still nice and cool! I suspect that it could probably stay cool for at least half a day, depending on where it's stored. 5/5 Water reservoir. Way better than most name brands, and not too highly priced for the quality!

Nice to have cold water

The sleeve definitely helps insulate the water inside the pouch. However, the water in the tube doesn't stay cold at all, and the hole for the tube connector is small and annoying to get through. The ability to turn the pouch inside out is really nice for cleaning and the water is easy to pull through the mouthpiece.

Great for kayaking

Stuffed these in our surfski for a hydration solution for flatware endurance events when we didn't want to carry the weight on our backs. They worked perfectly and the insulation kept the contents from getting too warm over the 4 hour paddle.

Rugged reservoir that keep you cool.

Great large capacity reservoir. Kept my water cold all day long. More important for me, I got this reservoir because I needed something that wouldn't get punctured in my climbing pack. So far, so good.

GREAT PRODUCT

I love it. I have always preferred the Hydrapaks. They are super tough and I like the way you can open them to clean or add ice. Hydrapaks are all that I use and reccomend
