poor design details

So many disappointing features. The zip on this women's jacket is a man's zip so it's the wrong way round. Velcro at the neck closure is cheap and nasty and my hair sticks to it. It's wider across the shoulders than at the hips which is odd for a women's jacket. The biggest disappointment is that the small chest pocket could have been used as the stuff pocket to keep it small once it's packed. Much easier to put in the back pocket of a cycling jersey for example. The main pockets are too large. Go look at the Brooks L S D jacket and see how it should be done. (That jacket doesn't breath AT ALL tho so you can't have everything.)

Breathable and Dry

I've only worn this jacket a few times but I'm super happy with it's performance so far. The first time I wore it on a 15 mile trail run and I was very impressed with how breathable it is!! I also just wore it this morning on a short but very raining hike and I stayed dry and warm (it was in the mid 40s) but w/o getting sweaty. I'm 5'4 around 125 lbs and I got the XS. Normally I would get a small but I like more snug jackets when I'm wearing a hydration pack or I'm covered in kids and I don't need a mid-layer.

Great lightweight waterproof layer!

I am so glad that I bought this jacket. I got a Large so that I could fit a warmer layer underneath on wet late spring hikes in the Pacific Northwest. It held up so well to constant rain for several hours. Even though I was moving along the jacket wicked away moisture and sweat leaving me feel light on my feet. I highly recommend this piece from OR if you are looking for something lightweight and comfortable to wear in the rain!

Nailed it!

This jacket is wonderful! The addition of the Ferossi sides really aids in breathability for high aerobic activities. I'm 5'4", 120lbs, B cup... The medium fits well. Just big enough that with a lightweight base layer it's not overly baggy, and yet perfect with a midlayer too.

Another excellent OR product

I bought this for my mom as a gift, and this is her first OR product. She absolutely loves the jacket. She thinks its great how breathable and comfortable it is on her wet walks out on Whidbey Island. She's about 5'1" and 120lbs. The small fits her perfectly.

Great Jacket

I did a run in this jacket in the pouring rain. It kept me dry. I really like how lightweight it is and the stretch panels on the side make it much more comfortable to exercise in than most rain jackets. I am really happy with it.

I bought this jacket so I could ride in the rain all-year in Seattle and I'm happy with it! I especially love that the sleeves are long enough.

Fits great for a running jacket! Best of both worlds for being rainproof and breathability. OR nailed it!
