Fit: True to size. I'm slender and it fits me well, and the design includes a slight flare at the bottom/hips. Design: Fabric is super lightweight and flexible. I bought multiple brands/styles to compare and kept this one because I loved how light and soft and fabric is! Bonus for the soft lining on the inside of the front zip where you're mouth touches when it's fully zipped. Performance: So far I've only used it on a few 10-30 minutes walks around the neighborhood in light to heavy rain and it performed great. Beaded the water, kept me dry (no leaks).

I bought this rain jacket for its packability and breathability. While it is comfortable and lightweight, it did not hold up against PNW rain. On several occasions, the jacket was soaked through within 1 hour of steady rain while hiking. I was left soaked through and cold. Would only recommend wearing this jacket out on short stints of rainshowers and nothing more. Returned to REI as it won’t work for the precipitation levels in my area.

Maybe I am expecting too much but I found that this jacket soaked through much more easily than I wanted. I wore it as an outer shell during a surprise snow storm while camping and after 2-3 hours the jacket was soaked and my down layer below was wet. The jacket was still drenched the next day. Comfy but I wouldn’t rely on.

Great rain jacket! Very lightweight, and quite stretchy for a rain shell. It fits perfectly over multiple layers underneath (shirt, fleece, and OR Transcendent Down Hoodie), and the hood has great coverage. It's lasted well through heavier rain on the West Coast and dries quick

Wow! I have been searching for an ultralight rain jacket and was thrilled when I discovered this on sale. It has everything on my list: breathable, stretchy, zip pockets, hood with a visor, and even pit vents! I’d been looking at other brands but wasn’t willing to pay their steep prices for ultralight jackets. I travel and wanted a very lightweight jacket to tuck in my suitcase for emergencies, and this will do the trick. Since this is just a shell, it isn’t intended for warmth, just for staying dry, so I did size up in case I need to layer underneath. Thank you for this great product! I got the balsam/grove, a two-toned green, which is very pretty.

This jacket has been great so far! It’s super lightweight - perfect for those 50–60° days, and it works great in colder temps too if you layer up. I’ve worn it out in both rain and snow, and everything just beads right off, even after being outside for a few hours. The vent zippers are a nice touch too - they help cool you down when you’ve got layers underneath. Overall, a perfect jacket for early fall and spring!

I purchased this shortly before a week in Vancouver Island. It served well as a windbreaker and protected during brief sprays from ocean waves. But during a normal PNW light but consistent drizzle, my daughter was wet through on a walk in Vancouver Island. She ended up ditching for a fleece to stay warm. There’s no point in keeping a jacket that doesn’t stay dry.

I just spent an unseasonably wet and cool 10 days in Costa Rica, and this jacket was a rock star...I was completely dry inside (be sure to tuck the cuffs of your shirt inside the sleeves and keep the velcro tight, of course, to prevent absorption). The pit zips were great for cooling when I did a steep hike up from the crater of an extinct volcano. This colorway was perfect for birding, with a dark camo-type print. I cannot recommend this jacket highly enough.

Zipper broke immediately after first use. As soon as I got it, I tried it on, stuffed it into packs or pocket, took it out and zipper was broken. $175? I should've got to walmart for a better quality rain jacket.

Great jacket for the most part. Waterproof in heavy rain. I find the hood to be a bit big so that it blows off if it’s windy. There is a synch in the back but it doesn’t seem to help much. Other than that it’s great and very light weight!
