Best Bike Trailer Ever!
I absolutely love my new Burley D’Lite Single bike trailer! I purchased it for my two little dogs and they love it too! It makes their ride (and my ride!) a lot smoother - the suspension is awesome. All around a high quality trailer! We’ve already put a good amount of miles on it and I look forward to many more happy trails with my doggies! :)
poor quality and service
I purchased this directly from Burley. The product was very difficult to assemble; first the handle, then the tow bar. Customer service was useless as they kept emailing me the same information and even condescending, despite the fact that one side installed without problem. I had to take it to a bike shop, as the mount was not installed correctly. It is not particularly comfortable for my 14 month old either, as he will sit in there just for a short while. The reclining is barely couple of inches, so they use that as an excuse to charge more money. In summary, terrible product and service, waste of money and time.
We Love Our D’Lite Single!!
We got lucky. We researched the top trailers for our new bikes and had narrowed down our search to this Burley product. We went to the website and the only model they had left in stock was this one…which was exactly the one we wanted in the color we wanted. There has been such a demand for bikes and related products that everything has been sold out or delayed or backordered everywhere. But this trailer is amazing! We love the features and the ease of use. I ordered and extra hitch so we can easily switch from my bike to my wife’s bike if needed. Got some tail lights for night riding. Absolutely great product!

Great product— just needs included off-road tire option
This trailer is fantastic! Well made, quality craftsmanship. With the easy to assemble, foldable design and durable fabric for all types of weather, we are very happy with this purchase. The sunshade is a great addition. The only thing keeping me from adding another star is the fact that we popped a tire totally flat on the gravel roads on only our third road trip out. We bought this trailer with suspension specifically to handle gravel and dirt road travel, but the tires that it came with the trailer didn’t seem to hold up! Just a heads up that you may need to purchase tires that are more puncture resistant for off-road travel since there is not an option for them to be included with this trailer model upfront. Regardless, I am happy with the overall purchase.
Absolutely amazing product. Assembly out
Absolutely amazing product. Assembly out of the box was a complete breeze. Fit up to the drive bicycle was very simple and safe. My little peanut loves every ride in this trailer and she gets to see everything around us instead of only my backside like the other possible kid seats for bikes. This trailer lets me get out for my daily ride and exercise while still being able to spend time with my little girl. This is a great addition to our daily routine and has since replaced our original stroller as an added bonus.
Great bike cart.
First rate bike cart. The D’Lite is a perfect combination of bike cart and versatile child stroller. The easy removable wheels and easy collapse, helps with placing in a vehicle. I had one of the original models in the early 80’s and used it for years and for many thousands of miles in several states and countries. This newer version will likely surpass the original in every way.
Badly shaped seat
The seat is not shaped well for a 1-year-old. It forces her to sit in a severely slouched position. Cannot be healthy or comfortable—her spine is not close to its natural shape. I guess we have to make our own additional support or buy another part. Frustrating given how expensive this was. Other aspects of the trailer seem nice—it certainly cost enough.
My favorite baby purchase!
I bought this for my son, who is now almost a year. We live in New England and started using the trailer when he was five months (using the infant snuggler) with the jogging kit on to keep him warm on snowy walks. He never once felt cold when I took him out, and lasted for walks up to 45 minutes. It was so great to be able to get out of the house in the winter. It really helped my physical and mental post-partum recovery. We are working on using it as a bike trailer. The product and attachment is great and as my son gets used to wearing a helmet I’m sure we will be out several times per week. We use it to run/walk daily. We have the Premium Seat Pad, but my son is still more comfortable in the baby snuggler. We have the ski kit as well, but we are waiting until next winter to try it out. I recommend the Burley to all my active friends considering a jogging stroller or multi-sport. I really enjoy trying different strollers and this one is by far my favorite.
Great Trailer!
I previously used a different brand trailer prior to purchasing the D-Lite. I never knew what I was missing. The D-Lite is extremely well built, comfortable for my daughter and is safe. My daughter loves the comfy seat and the smooth ride, whether on a street or gravel. I highly recommend the product!
