Lots of ugly pilling after a month

Lots of ugly pilling after a month of wearing it. Other than that it's perfect. I think the Large fits normal, but I also seriously doubt anyone 6'2"/175lbs. could wear a medium and have it look as loose as the model. In my opinion you'd for sure need a large. I purchased the Oregano Heather, it's a nice brownish gray. I like the shirt, but for $80 it shouldn't look so raggedy after one month. This is the fatal flaw in my opinion. It also, like most Vuori products, has seam threading issues. The garments tend to fall apart along the seams due to poor quality control or inferior threading materials. Please improve these issue and keep everything else the same, because other than that, it's perfect.

Ugly pilling

Vuori typically gets a 5-star rating from me, but the pilling on this sweater is unacceptable. Wear it a couple times and it will look like it's 50 years old. Don't buy.

good til you wash it

I have been trying to invest in better quality clothes and bought this thinking it would be high quality as a basic daily wear winter shirt. The piling started after my first wear and then gets worse after every wash. I’m on the third wash and I would consider it only acceptable for bed/around the house as it looks so worn out. Super disappointing for the price

Comfortable but awful pilling

As the other reviews state, immediate pilling after the first wash. Very disappointing, looks awful.

Total junk

Totally useless! Started piling all around within days. Didn’t even wash it once! Don’t touch this…REI shouldn’t even carry this.

Pilling is NOT a sign of poor quality wool

I've been so happy with this shirt that I decided to buy another, and was surprised to see so many negative reviews here. Also, there's a lot of misinformation about what pilling actually is, and what it infers about the clothing quality. 1. I own a ton of wool and wool-blend clothing. Nearly ALL wool clothing will experience pilling. 2. Pilling is more likely to occur on HIGHER quality garments, not lower quality. The looser that wool is spun, the softer and more luxurious it will feel, but it also means that over time more loose wool fibers will surface, which is what creates pilling. 3. The pillling on this particular shirt is not even that bad, in some ways it gives it a bit of character/texture and is not ugly (in my opinion). I don't do any special wash/dry process for this shirt, just regular machine wash cold and tumble dry low. 4. If the pilling bothers you so much, there are $10 fabric shavers that easily remove pilling On to the good parts of this shirt, and the reason I'm going to buy another: 1. It fits really well 2. It's comfortable and soft, and really versatile. 3. Thin enough to layer, thick enough to provide warmth, while also being breathable. 4. I get compliments when I wear this.

Long sleeved shirt.

The shirt is nice and feels comfortable. This zippered pocket on the side is too small to hold a cellphone and so is the breast pocket. You can put your keys in the zippered pocket if you don’t have too many keys.

My New Favorite Shirt

I have worn/wash/repeat this shirt a ridiculous amount of times since getting it. I absolutely love it. Perfect fit, looks casual but can you can also dress it up with the right pants and layer shirt.
