I've primarily bought these for a half ironman I've signed up for (just the running, the tops are too soft for being in caged pedal). I previously had Brooks Ghost 9's but found the large heel to toe drop quite uncomfortable and was getting blisters as a result. I explained this to the lad in the store and he recommended these. They have less of a drop and fit like a glove. I thought being tight fitting that they would get quite warm but no problems with temperature at all. Have done a faster 5k and slower 15k run in them so far and performed well in both, very impressed so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been looking for maximum cushioning in order to be gentle to my soar knees. Running without pain was my priority but sometimes I really felt that my heavy shoes was holding my performance back. It came to a point were I almost did not feel any joy in running any more. Then I tried the ASICS Dynaflyte and discovered a whole new world. In this product I get the same cushioning but with a much lower weight and drop from what I´m used with. Meaning that I´m able to run faster and having more fun, but still without pain in my knees. I´m very happy with this product
Great shoes they are very comfortable. I normally wear a mens 13 but ordered a 12 and they fit perfect.
I used the original Dynaflyte shoes for 500+ miles and they still looked good and were comfortable. So this was an obvious upgrade. They look equally great, the orange is vibrant and looks great at dusk/dawn. The laces are like a tube and so offer a little elasticity, which means I don't tie them up too tight or too loose. I do a lot of road running, sprint training, and a some endurance and they are great for all ranges. In comparison to the originals, I did have to order 1/2 a size smaller. But the fit is great.
I have been running in ASICS since I began running about 3 years ago. I started out looking for shoes in a big box sporting goods store and liked the feel of ASICS Contend 3 among the brands I tried (Nike, Brooks, Saucony). As I continued my running, I moved onto Cumulus 18 and then Cumulus 19 (which I loved). Recently I became intrigued after reading about the potential advantages of a lighter shoe but was afraid to give up the great cushioning of ASICS. I tried the DynaFlyte 2 nd got both! They're light and comfortable but with that great cushioning with both the FlyteFoam itself and the gel. In fact, as soon as I saw the DynaFlyte 3s come out, I quickly bought 2 more pairs of DynaFlyte 2s before they became unavailable. I'm training for my first half-marathon and I don't want to have to change shoes between training and the race.
I’ve always worn adidas and recently I had to use my pals shoes to go running while traveling and be they were ASICS which I never thought about wearing, I bought ny own pair and loved them and now just purchased the dynaflytes and they are great. The support is perfect and I like the sleek style they went with. I would recommend or any runner, outdoor enthusiast or even just as a daily shoe.
Heard good reports fro the USA regarding the Dynaflyte 2 having bought a pair of the Dynaflyte1, a lighter version was the perfect follow up. I have worn the shoes for the past 3 weeks and have found they suit me perfectly. Good cushioning and fit, a very responsive shoe. Have run distances of around 10k and Half Marathon with no problems to report. A first class Asics product.
Wow, ASICS nailed this one. I can’t even describe how good this running shoe is. Very supportive but feels like a slipper on your foot. Shoe looks great as well. Fits true to size not to narrow or wide or small or large. You will be very pleased. I’m a 3.5-7 mile runner at a time and this sneaker is performing better than expected
These are a great fitting shoe out of the box. They feel really light and so far, they have been very stable and helped my run times get better over the last week since I've gotten them. I like the colors as well, they should hold up well in the dirt. I was moving from another ASICS so I knew the fit would be good.
