Purchased the Monk's Robe/Chili Pepper color. Classic retro look to the shoe. Fits true to size. Very comfortable walking and everyday use shoe. I've used my on light hikes and into the office. I would totally buy them again!

Being a Portland Oregon native, I have been a fan of Danner. I currently have 3 pairs of boots/ shoes and 1 pair of leather sandals. I use them for daily 2 1/2 mile walks. The Jag Low was a replacement. It is very disappointing, the foot bed is nothing like my others. The soles are so thin you can feel the pattern of the sole, small squares, no support for your foot. I used them for 2 weeks, they hurt my feet, ankles and knees. Nothing like my other Danner’s. They are nice looking but they will look good in my closet. I think since COVID, quality has changed in a lot of things we buy now. I will think hard if I were to purchase any Danner’s again.

I originally bought the monk reds, had to find some hunting store in Minnesota that had my size in stock. These shoes are amazing. I’ve since bought every color of the low jags. They are but tough, insanely comfortable, and the lacing is like a hot knife through butter. I had been using Dr Scholl inserts on other shoes but there’s no need with these. They are amazing all day hospital work, to casual, to hiking in the fells all in the same day. They are the perfect. They are built to last through all seasons, through all environments and anything you could want to do. It doesn’t hurt that they are also wonderfully styled.

They look great and shipping was great. But after owning a pair of work boots that were really comfortable and helped my feet and back while I was on my feet for roughly 5-10 miles a day. But unfortunately they didn't last long. So in my new job as a salesman in a gun shop I decided to get these thinking they would be awesome. Unfortunately they are very hard soled. Comfortable for the most part but after days on end on a concrete floor they hurt more then other shoes I have tried. So, sorry danner. This will be the end of our relationship as I don't feel I have gotten my moneys worth. Thanks for trying though.

I walk to and from work every day and have loved these shoes. I have wide-ish feet, and so I get hotspots with a lot of other shoes. So far, no hotspots. Also can’t beat this price for Danners!

The Danner low Jag hiker for men awesome! I I would recommend these to anybody that's looking for a casual shoe, an over-the-top hiker, or something to put on anytime of the week! I was so happy with these I turned around and bought an 8-inch pair of moccasin toe Bull Runs, for work, to finish up my list. Danner is by far one of the best American shoe companies out there, and I own many other American brands, but one thing will remain as is, I will always be a Danner boot\ shoe consumer. Thank you Danner for putting out a quality product! Whether it's hiking, work, or hunting look no further.

Very comfortable. Quickly became one of my favorite go to pairs of shoes. I haven’t had them long enough to go hiking or wear in bad weather and am a little worried how they’ll look afterwards… sure love the look and feel!

They are well made. From the top view of the shoe, they look a little long and narrow, and the toe shape could be at a slightly larger radius.. nonetheless, that’s just my preference. They are comfortable and quiet while walking in.. that’s a huge plus. Also, they are lighter than I expected, yet still feel substantial as a shoe. The lacing is a breeze with the d rings and high quality laces. They’re easy to get on and off. Mine came with light and dark brown laces.. I went with the dark, however, if I were tryna ball out I’d throw on the light ones for a lil extra drip.

Comfortable and stylish, for simple 1-2 hour trail walking. You'll definitely need a more aggressive footwear, for hikes up rigorous & strenuous trails.
