Great light for running

I really like this product. It felt a bit spendy for the lumens compared to traditional head lamps, but the flexibility with the clip was the reason behind my choosing this product in the end. I don't regret the choice - the design works very well and has a solid build quality! The brightness is plenty for running along a pitch-black path without going to the highest setting. The rechargeable battery also gives the unit a balanced weight compared to my headlamp that takes three AAAs. I do agree with the other reviewer about the button. I wish it stuck out more and took less time to turn and off. However, I don't have enough cons to detract from a full five stars.

Good light, but two things I really don't like

This is a mostly well-designed light. I use it without the belt because the clip is nice and you can clip it on things like a reflective vest, etc. However, there are two things I really don't like. 1) the button to turn on the light is hard to use. You have to use your fingernail, and sometimes your fingernail goes into the crack beside the button, and you have to wait three seconds to find out whether or not the light will come on. 2) the light is an eye-searing bright white light, and even when it reflects off of something you are doing with your hands in front of you, such as putting on gloves, it really hurts your eyes. I'm planning to tape some yellow or orange cellophane on top of the light to try to take the sear out.

Great light; terrible strap.

The light itself is great. It is bright, can easily be angled to change the aim while still being able to hold its position. I've had lights that don't hold their position. The many light modes are good as well. The problem is the strap - it is nearly useless. The stretchiness of the strap causes the light to just bounce. You light up the road, you light up the sky, you blind yourself in the eyes; the light just bounces everywhere. I replaced the strap with a homemade nylon webbing one. Drastic improvement, no bounce. I still recommend buying the light, just be prepared to replace the strap with something a little more solid.

Nice and bright

This light has worked well so far with a nice bright light so I can actually see the ground in front of me. My only complaint is that the light went out on my last trip in freezing weather (with a full charge). After a couple minutes it came on again. It repeated this several times during my run. My only guess as to why this happened is that the output of the battery was diminished by the cold temperatures and the internal circuitry was fooled into thinking the battery had lost its charge so it shut the light off.

I have found this product satisfactory, it was given to me as a girt. I have one minor complaint and that is the switch for operation of the light. I have found it difficult to operate, apart from that a really good product

Some great features with room for improvement

I’ve been using this light for a few months, and overall I like it. The light is very bright, it attaches firmly and easily to my LED chest strap, and it is rechargeable (yay!). The only downsides are that it is not easy to turn on (I cannot turn on or adjust while running, this seems needlessly fussy), and that I can’t tell when it needs a recharge. When the battery is low, it just shuts off in the middle of a run (it does last through many hours on a single charge), which is dangerous.

Overall, good light.

On/off is a bit difficult. Have to push in hard and takes more than a few seconds. Can’t do it on the fly well. Strap is wimpy, not stiff enough. Best to clip to waist band. I also clip to another strap that has a strip light and clip on the light strip so does not bounce around. Not as bright as a head lamp that I wear on my waste, but it bounces and cannot clip to my waistband.

Great product

I run in NoxGear’s Tracer360 to be visible to cars but needed something to help me see around me and this is the perfect product, though small, the light is bright and makes me feel safer while running at night. I clip it on the center of the vest I already wear and it stays put throughout my entire run. I’m really glad I found this product.

Luna Fire 250 RX

I begin my morning runs in the dark and really appreciate the different levels of brightness this light provides. Since I can wear it around my waist I also feel I have a better visual of the road and any small trip hazards like rocks, sticks or pine cones. Bought 2 and gave the 2ND one to my running partner. She also likes it.
