Great hang!!!

Just love love love them. I’ve already got the python 10 but wanted something longer. I’ve had about every strap made. From the beetle buckles from dutchware to the eno’s. Not saying that those straps aren’t great straps cause they are but these are my favorite. The 1.5” back that wraps around the trees just seems more sturdy for me. Plus at night once you hit them with some light you’ll definitely know where they are. Easy to roll up and store up the bag can be used several ways at camp. To be that much of a strap there they are lightweight. I use the dutchware mantis with the strap to hook up my hammock. They roll right on up with them and fit perfectly in their bag. It can snap right on your pack. I snap my ground tarp, gear hammock and pillow with the straps so I don’t miss place anything. With all that’s said I highly recommend the straps. Shipping was on time.

Well made and compact

They pack up really small and are very well made. The duel colors are nice aesthetically, as well as functionally, because in low light they make it easier to find the loops. I like the 500lb rating, which is realistic (with some engineering tolarances) for two people.

Python15

Very little stretch. Super strong and easy as walking around a tree with your hands up high to use. I’m using with the additional 4.5 foot straps. Big trees in New England and the 2 I’m using are 28 feet apart. Well done Kammok.

Hey! Handiest Hangers!

I am usually wary of new ways of doing the "old things" - so when I bought my Roo Hammock, and saw the Python 10, I was curious. I love the fact that it doesn't damage the trees like rope does - that's WAS my number one plus, until I found how easy it was to hand the Roo using these suckers. So easy and amazing! If I had ONE complaint, it would be that rolling them up properly takes more than a minute - but it's not really a horrible thing - especially if you want to keep it packed down to conserve space. Strong, simple and slick. All-around awesome.

Concerned about stretch

I haven't had them that long. Have used them 3 times. I have noticed a considerable amount of stretch from a strap that is billed to have very little. Obviously, when used at maximum or near max distance the stretch is expected to be more but you literally have to hang the hammock above your head to keep your butt off the ground. Now...If it takes several uses to "break these in" the 3 star rating may be a little tough. However, currently these are a little too strechy for me. Gonna keep trying though...I want to like them.

Great tree friendly straps. Very stretchy though.

I am 6’ 3” 270 pounds so finding straps that hold me and my stuff when camping can be a problem. That is why I really like how strong and durable these straps are. The 500 pound weight capacity gives me some peace in mind that I will still be able to use these many more year down the road. My only real problem with them is that they are stretchy. When just hang with the strap I can start 18” off the ground and 2 hour later I am touching the ground. So for me the 10’ straps are much better because that extra 5’ is not really useful. I now use some 7/64 amsteel whoopie sling on my 10’ straps so that I don’t have to worry about stretch. With 8’ slings, 10’ straps and a 10’ hammock I can hang well between trees up to 30’ apart. But I normally try to find trees 13-24 feet apart.
