It is what it is.

It’s a money belt, it’s RFID blocking. It’s not particularly aesthetically appealing, but considering it’s designed for concealing, that’s hardly a huge drawback. It fits comfortably enough underneath pants, provided you don’t overload it, and it’s smartly constructed. Not sure how much more you could reasonably want from this product. It’s nicer than the Eagle Creek model I bought 20 years ago, and cheaper than the RFID model they sell now. Again, REI comes to the rescue with an as good, if not better product, at a lower price.

I bought this to keep my money, passport and cards safe traveling through the Middle East and Asia. 18 days of fighting with the zippers to open and close at the airport, security checks, and every where else you really need a zippers to function. This will be a product return.

Received color different from displayed

I ordered the armadillo taupe color belt. It arrived quickly, but I was disappointed that it is not the beige looking color one that is displayed when armadillo taupe is selected. It is a dark gra one that arrived.

zipper problems

zipper doesn't work well; especially when wet. I took this on a two week summer trip to France, and found that the zipper would get caught in the fabric. Paris is extremely muggy in the summer, and when the pouch got moist from my perspiration the zipper would get caught almost all the time, and this made it almost unusable. I returned it

Anyone actually try this belt before producing?!

So irritated with this belt! It is near impossible to zip or unzip without the zipper getting stuck on the concealer flap material. So much for trying to discretely access money! The fit and size were all good, but the (non) functionality made the belt worthless, and a target.

A good first belt for a Europe trip

This belt worked great for my trip to Europe. I will say after about a week, I started having issues with the zipper getting stuck. Other than that, I did appreciate the waist strap staying put. I never had to tighten it. I do wish the inner mesh pockets had a velcro closure since my coins would always end up in the main compartment of the bag. I thought it was decent for the price. I may upgrade for the next trip though.

aweful

Bought this a few years ago in anticipation of a trip but never used it. Finally traveled to Europe with it and the thing wouldn't stay clipped. Had to use a mini-cairbiner and a keyring to actually keep it on my body and feel secure from it not falling off. Needs better than a tiny trouble plastic clip to wear.

Great travel pack

I bought this belt for a trip to Spain to do the Camino Ingles. It was comfortable to wear all day while I walked and it provided a safe and comfortable place to keep my passports and money on me while on the trail. Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a belt to store your valuables while traveling.

closure doesn't work

I actually want to return it. I felt that the belt closure was not secure and came un hooked quite easily. I liked the size of the pouch and the zipper compartments but not the belt closure.

Zipper gets caught in fabric

When opening and closing the zipper, zipper catches fabric. When this occurs (always) you cannot open the zipped pocket. Very poor design especially given that this is an REI branded product. Extremely disappointed.
