Improvised Sink
To be honest I currently do not have a dog. I bought this dog bowl to use as a sink while backpacking. It's light weight and takes up very little space. It worked very well on my recent hike, and it actually helps with keeping things from rattling together in my pack (pet peeve of mine). It also served as a backup dog bowl for the two pups that accompanied us on our recent hike. The two owners also use and recommend Ruffwear products for their dogs. An all around winner.

Well made, but doesn't stand up on its own
Well made, but doesn't stand up on its own, so not great to fill with water since it spills. Was really hoping for this to work out

waterproof across america

Love this bowl! Super light, packs down small, and doesn't leak. We traveled across the country for a month and this bowl was ideal for base camp and hiking alike!

Great for the car or truck:

My dog rides with me where ever I go and I always have a dish for him on the floor. Whenever I hit a rough spot the water usually splashes out. Not with this bowl. I've been in some pretty rough spots and it takes a lot to make it splash out the top. I don't worry anymore about spilling water all over the floor. It also collapses so it's easy to take along in the backpack D ring would be nice.

Ruff stuff

Decent capacity and stable Dog bowl. It packs well and dries well too. No leaks. Better than the lightweight bowls because they lack capacity and the openings are too small.

Great for the beach and on the go!

Good size, orange makes it easy to find in your day pack. Decent size opening. Wish it had Velcro to pack smaller or a D-ring to clip onto a pack. Can lead a dog to water but you can’t make them drink. This helps

Great travel bowl

Bowl liner seems to be fully waterproof, and sides are deep enough that water doesn't splash out. Awesome for traveling

Great bowl, lightweight, folds up nicely.

This bowl is perfect for camping and hiking with our dog. It’s super lightweight and folds up well so it’s easy to carry in a backpack. It also folds cleverly so any excess water drops stay in the bowl rather than getting your bag a little wet. Well made!

Love It

Perfect—we have the large for our 90 lb German Shepherd and it’s great when we travel. Sturdy but light and packable.
