It’s a nice slim fitting boot, feels like I am wearing a high-top sneaker than hiking boot. The pops of teal are pretty. The laces feel flimsy though, really thin, I wonder if it’ll snap easily. The sole does not have any special grip, unlike some of the more ugly-looking heavy-duty type hiking shoes but aesthetically this looks way nicer if you care about looking stylish. I ordered 7.5 US women. The box says this is 38 euro, UK 5 and 24.5cm.
I love these! I have never bought shoes specifically for hiking, I've always used tennis shoes. As I was preparing for my first fourteener, I decided I needed some boots. I ordered these online, and I was surprised to find that they looked even better in person. They are not quite as black as pictured, more gray, and they look great! I wear a size 8, I ordered a size 8, and the size is perfect! I did break these in on walks with my dog before my big hike. Very comfy as long as you wear high socks! Also - totally waterproof! Love my first pair of hiking boots.
I was looking for shoes I can wear on our trips to Europe which I can go hiking in and walking around town as well, needed to be waterproof and light, and not bulky hiking looking. Well this shoe seeed to cover my needs. They are definitely not as dark as in the picture though, more like grey, so I got fabric die in Michaels and die them . Now they look perfect! They seem comfortable so far, not very breathable on a warmer day though.. over all great! Adding pictures before and after die.
I am really happy with these boots. They have been really comfortable from the start—no breaking in required. Very lightweight and well-made. Would definitely recommend!
Just what everyone else said - great, light weight, soft on the inside and no breaking-in needed. I feel like they could even be used for heavier hiking than what they are sold for. I used them on multiple day-hikes and they were great - never rubbed on my ankle or caused any pain. Hope they last a long time!
I really like these hiking boots. They are very light and comfortable. And, they keep my feet dry when hiking through mud and puddles. I would definitely buy them again.
Light, comfortable, and can handle long hiking days/ I even took them on a two-week hike around Mont Blanc! The only downside is that they don't keep you dry. They tend to only last about 2-3 hours in steady rain/snow before they're soaked. Otherwise, really solid boots.
These boots are very comfortable and lightweight. I got them before going on a week long trip to Sequoia National park. We did a few day hikes ( >15 miles) and a backpacking trip. Overall they perform great. I have hight arches and this particular models fits me like no other. There were couple really swampy places but my fit stayed dry. I got a couple of blisters on my first day hike in them but easily fixable with a bandaid.
I love these! I take them for hikes in the redwoods up in NorCal. Have also gone hiking through desert, dry, rocky terrain with these. I haven’t tested them in snow or wet or muddy environments. They provide support and comfort for full day hikes and perfect balance of stability and flexibility. The more I hike in these, the more attractive they get with that well-traveled look. I took them on a road trip from California to Louisiana and even walked on concrete with these when I got blisters from brand new Teva Tirras. I adore these and highly recommend. (I have skinny ankles and tend to roll my feet a lot). I wear street shoes in EUR 38/US 7.0, Mizuno Wave Rider running shoes in 8, I got these in 8.
Such a comfortable lightweight hiking boot! I had absolutely no pain while breaking them in and they do feel more like running shoes on the trail. The arch support is excellent, but there isn’t a lot of stiffness on the bottom which means you can feel larger rocks and uneven terrain beneath them. Overall, I would definitely recommend these if you want a high quality breathable boot that won’t weigh you down!
