Sturdier than most
This leash seems heavier duty than some, with most of the length in the coil, pretty short straight segments. Out of the box it is about 4.5' long, and quite springy. We'll see over time if the coils stretch. The Velcro segments are large, and 2 attachment options for the board end are included. I've big legs and the leg end will only just go around my calf, but fits above the ankle no problem. Packaging says 12' foot maximum length (as opposed to the 11.5' stated in product description).
This leash is excellent.
This leash is outstanding. The neoprene ankle/calf closure is comfortable and has enough room to fit one's ankle or calf. The coiled cord is substantial and stays out of the water, even when attached at the ankle. The hardware is high quality and the velcro grips securely. I expect it to last a long time.

I purchased the new inflatable sup which I have used this leash! It is very comfortable & I didn't feel it was attached to my ankle! The length was perfect giving me plenty of coil to move around on sup. I was able to move off board at the dock & shoreline without feeling the board pull at my ankle.
