Warm & waterproof but terrible on the ankles

I was super excited to test these out during a snowstorm, but I had mixed feelings after a hike through the snowy city streets. They were wonderfully warm during freezing temperatures, and proved to be quite waterproof when the snow later turned to slush. I also felt a little more confident walking over icy patches due to the traction of the soles. However, I had to return them in the end. The smallest size offered is a 6, and no matter how many methods of lacing I experimented with, these boots kept folding at the ankles and painfully biting into me. I still have the marks over a week later.

My toes are toasty

Just got in from shoveling snow in 7 degrees, and my feet are super warm. I wasn’t even wearing thick socks. These boots are great. I’m a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8. They fit great!

Worked great on Alaskan Dog Sled ride

I bought these boots for a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska where it was cold and icy. These boots have decent traction in snow. Traction not as great on ice but still not bad. They are super comfortable and warm even when not wearing thick socks. I wore these during a sled dog ride and my feet stayed warm. I am normally a 9.5 but bought a 10 and I am very happy with them.
