Nice warm well made coat but returning
I was excited to get my outdoors loving 14 year old his first coat from North Face so he could be nice and warm all winter. The coat itself would definitely do that but we have to return it because of how the hood is constructed. The hood is on the inner coat and is non removable. When wearing the hood it fits tightly and kind of pulls down on his head which is warm but goofy looking. When he doesn't wear it, it can't lie flat on his back because the collar of the outside coat stands up (even worse when outside coat is fully zipped) and just sticks awkwardly out of the collar like some kind of weird flag. It rubs up against the back of his head when he moves around (would drive me crazy). I'll have to exchange and try some other styles to get the features we want.
Such a great buy!
This coat keeps my son extremely warm. And when its not so cold outside he can wear the inner jacket alone. He also got caught in the rain came home all his clothes were dry! Money well spent !!!
Love this coat
I buy my son a northface jacket every year and this one is the best one so far. We live in buffalo, where we get tons of snow and have frigid temperatures in the winter. It keeps him very warm.

Really good quality. Keep my son really warm. We love the blue color. Feel so soft, and comfortable. My son do not like heavy jackets, but this jacket is light and warm, and the same time.
An awesome jacket!!
My son has been using this jacket for about a month in -20 degree windchills. It is a nice warm jacket which he will be able to wear it even in spring and fall as it is a 3 in 1 jacket.
I would buy this product again for the following reasons:
I use the product on an every day basis in the winter. It is durable, well designed, its water resistant, well fitted according to sizing chart and fits my needs in the winter.

Amazing coat, the inner lining has a zipper that can be used for the fall and the of course the actual coat, also very stylish and feels really warm. A must buy!

Bought this for my nephew... he hates feeing restricted in heavy coats... hated his obermeyer ski jacket but LOVES this coat for all his winter sports/skiing:)
Great jacket, very warm
Great jacket, love the zip in liner. Only concern is that the zip in liner pulls out in the sleeves when you take the jacket off.
