2 nd 20 hopper
I already have had a 20 hopper for 4years or so and bought a second one to give to a very good friend who had just turn 60 now he can bring his own hopper when he comes to the FL keys with us this yr , also bought my self a x mas present last yr the sea foam tundra 65 and love this also , I have friends that would like to steal it but they are not strong enough to lift it whens its full sucks for them good for me ,kk
WOW ,WHAT A BEAST
I bought this to keep drinks in my truck,no more hassle of carrying two,three drinks at a time load this up with twenty and lasts all week.what a beautiful cooler,like expensive luggage I to be the last ill have buy,well done YET I.
A step up from my old Roadie
I purchased the Hopper Two 20 to replace my old Roadie. To Yeti's credit, my Roadie was 5 years old and still looked and performed like new. However, I had grown tired of lugging that heavy thing around, but I wasn't in love with the Hopper 1 design. The top load was harsh on the forearms and items weren't easy to locate. The new design completely eliminates my issues, and after owning it for a few weeks now, I'm pretty happy with the decision. I primarily use this as a supplement to my Tundra 65 (extra ice for drinks, day fishing trips, drink cooler on long camping trips, etc).
Works as advertised!
I bought this to take (kingfish) fishing in the Gulf of Mexico - had record heat up to 95 degrees, high winds, waves - the Hopper did its job! What else is there to say?!
Beat By Competitor - Bombproof
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'd love to try a 30 to see if the performance is better, but it's hard to justify. Recently picked up a competitor's new design, and for nearly half the price, got better performance by a long shot in terms of ice-holding/temp performance. While I'm sure the unnamed product can't be mowed over by a jeep (I mean that's plain impressive, this cooler is seriously a tank) it was just shy of the toughness of this cooler. Bottom line: I'd love to do a side-by-side with a larger hopper two 30 as I'm looking to add another soft cooler for my brewery's pouring events, but I'm not sure this is "the best out there." Will have yo think about investing in another.
Great cooler, but ...
Bought this for fly fishing trips and road trips. Easy to carry with shoulder strap. Also fits on the rear floor of my SUV perfectly and doesn't slide around. Cooler performance is outstanding; ice lasts over 24 hours. The only issue (and why I can't give it 5 stars) is the top opening is just a little too small. Everyone understands that a waterproof zipper is hard to pull but even after you horse it open, you still rake the back your hand on the zipper while rooting around for the beverage or food item you want. It would be easy for YETI to modify the design to to allow for a full and self-supporting opening of the top...if they do this the design would match the performance.
Couldn't be Happier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I coach baseball and my son plays so we are lugging all kinds of stuff around all the time. Being that we play in the dirt quite a bit, everything takes a beating and gets very dirty as well. My Yeti has been put to the test from day 1, and has held up like a champ for sure. Not to mention we have very long, hot days in the summer on the ball field. Holds ice like a champ as well. After 6-8 hours on the field, with all of my players constantly in and out of the cooler, I still have to empty a great bit of ice every evening when we are done. So just like the title of this article states, I absolutely could not be happier. I will never buy another brand of cooler!!!

I am witness of the outstanding performance of the YETI products. I just bought a Hopper Two 20 and it has exceeded my expectations. I do have to admit that it took me a long time to finally decide to buy one since these products are not cheap, but I strongly believe I have made a good investment by relying on Yeti. The engineering that is built into it is amazing and the quality of the materials makes Yeti the best option out there for coolers and drink ware products. If you are like me and prefer to spend a bit more for a long-lasting, far better product, then you must purchase Yeti. I am in love with my Yeti, and my Hopper is in love with me too #yetilove #yetiforlife
Perfect for Retirement Road Trips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the Hopper 20 for road trips across the country. Holding 2-3 days of food and drinks is a must while we are on the road. The product is extremely well build and holds up whatever the situation. We are always confident that food and drinks will be fresh and we take our hopper with us even if it's for a couple hours to the beach. This product helps us bring "healthy" food and drinks with us instead of stopping for "road" food during our cross country travels. Great product and very easy to carry in and out of hotels/motels. Also great for keeping our wine cool when we arrive at our next stop. Just perfect!
Much better model
I bought the first Yeti Hopper 20 and returned it because it was so hard to get into. The new one is a total new design associated with the zipper and handles. Considering the cost and Yeti's reputation the first Hopper 20 was design flawed. I feel for those who bought the first one and used it and cannot rerun it and the price was dropped 33% because of the design flaw. This issue had nothing to do with REI who is great.
