I loved this pack for the 4 short months I had it. It was the perfect size for day trips or a carry on. I used it for climbing for a simple approach pack. I like that it’s a stuff-bag. Dislike having to unclip 2 buckles to get in it. However... the bottom started to tear after literally one use and eventually ripped through after multiple uses. I debated patching it but ultimately returned and upgraded to a 28L (I was strapping more the the outside haha). Water bottle holder wasn’t great for holding 32oz bottles when the bag was full. It fell out a lot.
I recently purchased this pack to use for a two week trip though California and Arizona. I used it as my carry-on and it was the perfect size. When site seeing, it provided a great alternative to a purse and water bottle. It was also the ideal size for the 2-4 hour hikes we did throughout northern Arizona. I cannot wait to use it for my shorter hikes once I get home to PA, as my other hydration pack is a little large for the shorter hikes.
Nice, lightweight backpack for smaller trips. Used it for 10 mile hike around Horton creek and had no problems.
I bought this for hiking in Utah, and it fit my needs perfectly. I like the simplicity of it, and it's super lightweight. You have plenty of room in the main compartment for anything you'd need on a day hike, with just enough (2) zip pockets to keep the little stuff secure. The only problem was that there was a hole in the bottom after only a week of hiking :/ I liked the bag enough that I'm probably just going to patch it or exchange it for the same bag though!
The specs should state that 14 oz. is the pack only and does not include the hydration reservoir. As shipped, it weighs closer to 1.5 lbs.
I bought this item for hiking, and the second time I wore it out for a hike (about 4 hours), I wore a white top. The red color bled all over my back, and stained and completely ruined my shirt. Washing it did not take the stain out! Very disappointed with this product.
I bought this for day lite backpacking and overnight camping, but haven't yet used it because, well, I still need other stuff and to plan where and when but for sure will be back for an edited response.
I bought this pack for dayhikes in colder weather. Needed extra space for clothing, socks, etc... love this pack! Exactly what I was looking for.
The hip belt got out from the backpack too easy. The left side hip belt just got out from the backpack while traveling. I hate it.
Im not sure if this was improperly assembled. It was very difficult to remove the blatter or to just fill the blatter
