LOVE this car camping tent

The Homestead Roomy 2 is an awesome tent for car camping. Very easy to set up, the doors make it easy to get in and out of the tent (even large enough to get a full size mattress in there). The stake and pole bag converts into a nice little gear loft, and the internal dry lines are great to have too. This tent is the exact same size as the Stormbreak 3, so to say this is a two person tent makes it a very roomy two-person (hence the name). This tent has two doors, and two large vestibules, big enough to store some items without exposing them to the elements. The rainflys for all of these tents make them stick out, so finding your site is pretty easy. It's definitely been a conversation starter with neighbors and others campers. I've used it in cold weather and heavy rain, no problems whatsoever. As always, it's smart to invest/create your own footprint to insure the durability of the tent floor. My only negatives to the tent are there are no vents at the top, but I haven't had any problems with condensation in winter camping. Also, differing from the Strombreaks, this tent uses sleeves instead of external clips for the poles, which is cumbersome in my opinion.

Roomy... very roomy!

Roomy two person tent. I would have given it 5⭐but the side entry stuff sack is awkward. I've not tried it in the rain yet.
