Excellent tent if you want space and height!

I'm a wildland firefighter, 52 years experience, a retired 37-year AK Smokejumper to now Safety Officer seasonally on wildfires. I've always had a pup type tent, but this is by far the creme de la creme of tents' my wife convinced me to buy. I put it up yesterday to test it out and this North Face tent is amazing. I love that the instructions are printed on the carry bag, that's a game changer, brilliant move North Face! Love the carry bag you can cinch and you can load the tent from the top, it's so much easier than a tube type bag. Long gone are the days now of throwing a thermarest on the ground with a parachute for a fly. I can't recommend this more!

All Around Family Camping Tent

I just spent 4 days on a roadtrip camping in this tent. Its so easy to setup and takedown, and just feels like an outdoor porch once its all setup! The best part was the roof of the tent is mesh so you can easily look at stars at night. Honestly, my favorite tent I have ever slept in!

Returned it, hard to set up, misleading specs

This is supposed to be super easy to put together, but it stumped me. I've camped since I was a baby, literally, owned many good tents, and know all the variations, from nylon to canvas, but this tent was the hardest I've ever tried to figure out. The poles are supposed to cross, but there's too much tension for them to fit in the sleeves. I studied the pictures, watched the online video on setting it up, and tried several times with the utmost patience, and still no go. I finally gave up and returned it. My all-time favorite tent is a North Face, and the quality of this model seemed high in true North Face fashion, so I gave it 4 stars. Maybe I'm the only one who has trouble with it, I don't know. I'm also a bit mystified as to how a company like NF can let a significant typo get through their marketing screen and propagate all over the internet, which is namely that the tent has a whole 10.7 sq. ft. of floor area. Sounds like AI slop and I'm not impressed. I'm going with a Nemo.
