Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flattering AND Extremely Functional I run really cold when skiing, so I was hesitant to move to a shell jacket versus an insulated option, but this jacket has proven to be a great buy. The slim cut is flattering, but still provides enough room for more to layer a base layer, wool jacket, AND a slim puffer if I need it. The GORE-TEX shell fabric is extremely durable and provides the complete waterproof experience expected from GoreTex. The tricot lining adds a bit of warmth, but I have yet to feel overheated, even on these "spring skiing" days this winter. My only complaint would be the size of the cuffs is not large enough to go OVER my gloves. Longer cuff gloves are fine to go over the jacket cuffs, but mid length gloves and the jacket cuffs are a poor mix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent new product First off, the matching colour wrist straps is a really nice touch that is new on these jackets. I love the soft Goretex construction with the light insulation because this jacket is good for lighter weather with minimal layering or colder weather when you put on more layers. Given that it is a tighter fit, make sure you try with a few layers so you can see how it feels. Overall, excellent jacket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful jacket, fits much smaller than other ARC product I was a little worried when I first slipped my arms into the beautifully crafted jacket because it felt tight. Too tight. I was put off thinking "this is a winter shell, it should have room for layers" Though I realize, the fault was mine for not paying attention to the "slim fit" guidelines. Every single arc'teryx jacket I own is a size small (I have 8) and they all fit perfectly, with a bit of room to spare. That being said, I took off my lululemon spandex-y sweater, slipped on my Atom LT and tried this jacket again. Perfect. Slid right on, felt just right. I think my lulu sweater combined with the brushed interior of the Ravenna just wasn't a good combo. Be warned though that if you want to fit a few layers underneath, you should probably size up. For reference, I am 5'6" and 135lbs. I probably wont be able to wear snowpants under this (although my bib pants should be okay) but that's mostly due to my semi wide hips. I probably would have been happier with a size medium but since I own so many Arc' jackets already, it's not a big deal. It will get worn frequently and have its own purpose in my day to day (just not on minus 30 days!). Oh, and the reverse zip pockets will take some getting used to. I only got it last night so haven't had a lot of review time!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and packable For carrying in a backpack on hikes or backcountry skiing, it is the perfect jacket. It is light and foldable. I like its fit. It is good in the wind and blowing snow.
