These shorts fit great and are very functional for my needs.

While hiking and making presentations at different art shows and astronomy programs my shorts look great, feel great and have enough pockets to store all the items I need.

Excellent outdoor wet-dry shorts, but...

These shorts are comfortable and fit great. Their ability to dry quickly after being in the water rocks! I've been wearing mine all summer. I have them on now. The belt works great, however, there needs to be two more belt loops. I'd take the two on either side of the fly/button and move them closer in and then add another pair, one each hip. Also, the two front pockets don't work well enough to hold anything in them because they're not deep enough. There's not enough space between the top of the bottom opening of these pockets to the bottom of the pockets to allow them to hold anything other than lint.

Great Overall Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts fit well and had great mobility, wicking properties and drying properties. Great for larger hikers like myself. Plenty of pockets and pocket space. The only detractor is the belt and belt loops. The belt is flimsy, especially for larger men and there are not enough loops on the shorts to allow the belt to stay in place. I removed the belt and used a heavy leather belt which helped greatly, but still had some issues due to the belt loops. Overall a great product at a great price.

Bad Pockets

I bought these exact shorts a few years ago, and thought they were great, the pockets were perfect, all my stuff was kept very safe. These new shorts have pockets that are totally worthless, except for the one cargo pocket that has a zipper. I have lost my wallet, keys, money clip, and phone because of these pockets, the shorts would be great if you had NO stuff to carry, why they changed the pockets is a mystery, probably saved 50 cents, now the shorts are almost worthless!!!

sage is very green

the sage color does not look the same as online. online the sage looks a bit grey/kackish. The actual sage is an old school green tent canvas color. Not what i was looking for since i don't particularly care for green. color aside, these are a very nice pair of shorts. they do run small by a full inch in the 46 size. A size 46 is actually 45 inches according to a tape measure. if you go up a size they are a very comfortable fitting light weight pair of shorts. these shorts have the better quality adjustable belt that does not fall apart after one washing. I love how these have both a left and right side leg pocket along with the normal front pockets. It makes these shorts very practical for many outdoor activities where you want to securely carry things with you like keys, phone, wallet..... ect.

Great shorts for wheelchair user

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these for my dad, who is wheelchair-bound in muggy Florida. He loves them - the fabric is comfortable and cool and doesn’t wrinkle badly. The elastic in the waist is great, as the waistband doesn’t cut in (An all-elastic waistband would be even better.) The longer leg length is great in a chair, and the leg pockets are useful and accessible. I bought one size up for a little extra room and comfort.

Lightweight, comfortable and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are exactly what I have been looking for. They are lightweight, comfortable and durable. They also dry quickly. There are a good amount of good sized pockets. I have purchased many different colors in these shorts because I like them so much and they fit what I am looking for, especially for the summer part of my job.

Great Trail short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: amount of pockets, nice colors, convenient belt, light weight. Cons: none yet, but there could be a possible con which only time will tell. Although it features Ripstop 100% nylon i was thrown off by how thin the material is which is fine as long as they hold up and don’t rip. Will update in the future.

Surviving the Florida Heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I ordered these shorts! In Florida is it hot and wet and miserable all "summer" long. These shorts breathe really well, stay dry (or dry quickly), and provide the perfect amount of coverage I was looking for. I can squat and bend just fine in them and the pockets hold everything I could need.

so far so good

I purchase then a week ago and it arrived super quick. The short have the perfect length, super airy and light. Still need to use then once the super hot summer days arrive here in the Northeast. But I definitely like then, the belt feels flimsy but it’s holding well so far. Will update once summer arrives.
