Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for intended purpose Overall, I like the product. I wish my bike had the ability for full coverage fenders, but this is the best it gets with my road bike. The connections are a bit tight for easy on, easy off, but as far as keeping my back side dry...... It does a great job. I ride a full carbon DBR Podium and had no issues mounting these to my bike. I had plenty of clearance with my 25c tires with no rubbing issues at all. IMO The small front sections don't really provide much coverage, so I opted to leave them off. Group rides are great since I can ride with the pack without spraying the riders behind me. As long as your bike has quick release skewers both front and rear and caliper style brakes, and 25c and under tires, you should be able to mount these on your road bike.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Swing and a miss. Used on: Specialized Allez, 700x25 tires. Used for: 2 weeks I was excited to try these out--being low profile, race-oriented fenders--on my winter and rainy bike, a specialized allez. I was sick of dealing with Boston winter grime being thrown up onto me, and wearing out the seat of my rain pants. They were easy enough to install, but the clearance for the mounting brackets was a millimeter or less from the tire. Then I noticed that the fenders were rubbing the tires in several places. I tried to gently bend the brackets a bit to "shape" the fenders. I got to try them out after a lighter rain, which came just after some snow. The roads were salted and soaked. The fenders certainly reduced the amount of crud thrown up by my tires, but there were several major issues: The opening where the brackets attach to the brake mounts allowed a bit of grime to make its way to my saddle, which after riding long enough left a nice dirty spot on my trousers. The rear fender was also not long enough on the front, and threw all sorts of mess onto my pant cuffs and all over my shoes. The tires continued to rub against the fenders, making a distinct whining noise and causing a noticeable amount of friction. I rode with these for 2 weeks through a spate of bad weather, and tried adjusting the fenders to keep them from rubbing a good 7-10 times. Ultimately I gave up. These didn't serve the initial purpose I got them for: to be able to ride without my rain pants. They still allowed water and grime to get to the seat and cuffs of my pants, and my shoes. On top of this, they constantly rubbed against my tires. They might have worked better with 23s, but the manufacturer claims that these will fit up to 25mm tires and it just didn't work out to be true.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Commuter Must I live in Denver and commute 3+ miles a day and these have been great! I installed these at an REI and it took 30 minutes tops to get the bracketing and adjusted. They look sleek and there is added benefit from the rubber flaps. Would love if they did some cooler colors though!
