No comparison to the pur ice

Due to the wider tip, this pick really is not fun if you want to climb ice- even if you’re climbing a little mixed, the pur ice pick is so much better. I took these out for a day of climbing and was pretty frustrated with them! Displacing a lot of ice, took a lot more swings to get a good stick. And I didn’t feel like I got very many good sticks. Ok if you’re just hooking.
