I was pleasantly surprised!
At about 9000', I followed the directions exactly. I thought I might have messed up, because there didn't seem to be any extra water in the envelope when I stirred it at the 10-minute mark. I tasted a noodle then; it seemed nicely al dente. I gave it the directed extra 5 minutes, and the noodles were perfect! There actually was water to be poured out after that! I found the cheese powder combined nicely, though it was very bland to the taste. I dolled up the package with a pouch of surimi for protein and some Mae Ploy for heat, both of which completely obliterated the initial taste! But it was filling and good, and I'll be ordering this again!
