Product really helps with mosquitoes and no see ums. No scent - charge holds well.

I have no idea how these work, but they're amazing. We live 100 yards from a pond, and the whole yard is filled with mosquitos. But our patio is completely clear.

I have every kind of mosquito repellent you can think of for my apartment balcony…cintronella candles, OFF, the tennis-racquet-looking zapper and I use all at various times. Same with this. I will say it’s most effective after it’s on for awhile. It doesn’t get them all (hello zapper!) but it works very well for the most part. A little breeze won’t affect it but a windy day will. I feel if the opening were bigger it would dispense and work better but then how quickly would you go through the cartridge? That would get expensive. I also wish the battery would last longer. I am happy with the product and would recommend.

How do I know that mosquitoes hate THERMACELL? When my family from Switzerland visits us in Glendale AZ they are usually eaten alive by mosquitoes as they love hanging out on the back patio. That’s why I searched for an effective solution to the mosquito problem. My niece who usually has about 20 bites by the end of the first night has none after a two week visit. All three visitors were really impressed with the little unit that packs A LOT of punch against mosquitoes. It’s a little pricy but that’s the price you pay for no mosquitoes and happy campers🥰😊😀. 👍👍THERMACELL

It definitely decreased the amount of bugs, especially in the evening. It has been a wonderful thing to be able to outside in the afternoons and not be coated in bug spray

First off I almost never give reviews so the fact that I am writing, says this is great enough that I’m making the effort. Secondly I’m the type who believes zero advertising claims but am willing to give things a shot when, like w/this, independent reviewers (NYT Wirecutter iirc) give a thumbs up. And wow, I put this baby on the table on the patio and got zero bites—I’m a mosquito magnet but we didn’t even see a bug all evening. I’m a convert!

I used two of these on several recent camping trips. Two going at the same time, on a picnic table at a campsite, really did seem to drive away the mosquitos, despite my doubts. I wish the charge lasted a little longer, and I wish they'd charge faster, but those are nitpicks compared to the effectiveness. Note that I only tested them out in pretty calm weather; I don't know yet how they'll work in windy conditions.

I've used our thermacell products (we have both types) in areas with tons of mosquitos (north Idaho) and outdoors in the summer. You can literally see a wall of mosquitos just at the edges of coverage but within - nothing. We even took it to the south island of New Zealand to help with the sandflies. It was amazing. Highly recommend these products.

Bought the rechargeable Mosquito Repeller and Refills for 120 Hours specifically for a two week vacation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Mosquitoes are plenty there! This Repeller and Refills kept mosquitoes away while in our Villa Pool and brought the Repeller indoor at night and kept mosquitoes in-check! Had ‘no problem mon”! No bites during vacation.
