Tasteless and Egg Noodles Fall Apart

This is a horrible meal! Who makes Mac and cheese with egg noodles? I thought I'd deal with the weight in exchange for a great meal, but no such luck. The egg noodles fell apart when I gently stirred them as per the directions. The actual meal was tasteless. It definitely needs some sort of spices or salt/pepper added. I kicked myself because I purchased this last year and was disappointed then, and this year I forgot. This review is a warning to you not to waste your time/money/weight on this sub par item, and it is a reminder to me not to buy it again for next year's week long backpacking trip.

Delicious

Great tasting meal if you follow the instructions! This meal needs more water to hydrate the pasta and you have to pour most of it out before you add the cheese powder.

Follow the instructions

First off, I had low expectations. Second, I didn’t follow the directions and ended up with 2 servings of garden veg cheese soup. Oddly enough it fed us and wasn’t terrible. It would have been better if I poured out the extra water after the veg/noodles were done. Yes it could use some salt and pepper. It’s fine without it. Hot tasty easy meal for camp. If you have a problem with egg noodles and cheese you will be sad. I wasn’t and will purchase again.

Garden Mac n Cheese

I haven’t made this yet, but I like the added vegetables, and it is part of my emergency/hurricane/ camping gear.
