I read reviews on other sites for the Big Agnes Salt Creek, and the reviews were good, so I went with it. I'm not a regular camper and have only used this tent once. I also have an REI one-person tent that I like, but this tent is great. I love how light it is and the different internal pockets in the tent to hold things like a water bottle, headlamp, phone, and even my glasses. My Weim/Lab mix and I slept comfortably, and there was room to spare. I can't wait to get out there again!

Purchased the two man. Pros: I like the gear loft at the foot box. Great for stacking stuff sacks and misc light items. Like the awning (3rd door) nice ventilation with the vestibules open. High ceiling so easy to change Good hardware (stakes and guy lines Stuff sack is easy to fit everything into Cons The top of the tent has a pouch that you can stuff the 3rd door into. It collects debris. Wish it was a single pole setup. Cross member is a second pole. By UL BA tents have a pivot pole which is nice, but this has a second pole that needs attached. Main reason for the purchase was a roomy 2 man for solo car camping. This fit the bill. Really like the 3rd door and extra headroom. I usually don’t like Superman doors but I like it for setting up the gear inside. Nice and easy entry

Best tent I've owned. I love the vestibules for all my gear while having a third door to get in and out of. Easy to set up and take down. Love the gear loft and pockets and hooks to string line for wet gear. .dry in rain.

I bought this on a big sale, I got tent its footprint for ~200$. And I think for that price this is a fantastic tent. I love some parts of it and dislike others. Pros: - Rather light for the overall size. With the footprint it’s under 4.5 lbs. without footprint and stakes I think it’s like 3.7lbs - I can fully sit up and spread out inside. I am 6’3. - overall interior size is great* for one. Or two if you really like them. The toe end being only 42 inches means you can only fit 2 20inch pads if you want two people. I have only used it solo, but I’d say I’d be comfortable with a small person with me. - the gimmick parts are nice. The inside rack is nice for stashing my stuff sacks for all my stuff and then a change of cloths. The third door is the only door I use. I love the top loading of the tent. - quality is very nice, I don’t feel like it’ll rip on my but it’s still a nice light material. Cons: - Packs large. Poles are in 20 inch parts so those are long. And the tent, fly, and footprint take up my 7l stuck sack - same issue I say about about the 2 person capability. If you’re fine being friendly with your tent mate, then it’s not a worry. Overall very nice tent for the price I paid.
