Handy and Reliable Repair Kit
The Exped Field Repair Kit is a small but essential item to keep in your gear bag. It contains everything needed to make quick repairs to sleeping pads and other outdoor equipment while in the field. The patches adhere well, the instructions are straightforward, and the compact size makes it easy to carry on any trip. It has saved me from having to cut a trip short due to minor damage. A worthwhile investment for anyone who relies on inflatable gear during camping or backpacking adventures.
Definitely worth it
Going to drop a positive review here to help folks on the fence about purchasing. I bought this kit maybe a year or so ago when I got my downmat. Never had a chance to use it until recently when a cactus thorn stealth punctured one of my synmats. I had previously patched the same mat with the regular glue, so it was an excellent comparison. The first time I used it, more of the adhesive came out of the tube than I expected. I could've wiped it off with some alcohol, but I decided to do some extra curing with the UV light. This stuff is easy to use and perfect for a strong, reliable, and quick repair. It's very similar to UV gel nail products, so if you know how to correct mistakes before curing your nails, this is a breeze. I found it to be a lot less messy than the conventional glue, which is also a sturdy patch but managed to get everywhere. Definitely a good idea to keep this in your pack, especially if you are in a situation where sleeping without a mat would pose a health risk. I also love that it's easier to reuse than a tube of glue that will dry shut if you leave even a bit on the mouth of the tube.

Repair kit works great. The glue came out faster than I expected but it works. It feels like rubber when it dries.

Ordering through REI was much cheaper than ordering directly through Exped and was shipped much faster.

This kit is very high quality and really compact and light weight. A little pricey but a great option
