Nite Ize Dual CamJam Tie Down System - 8'
Create your own tie-down or connection solution with this Nite Ize Dual CamJam system. You can position the buckle anywhere in your configuration. And you can create a straight line or looped setup.

- Durable zinc alloy Dual CamJam™ buckle features 2 separate cam locking mechanisms, allowing you to slide the buckle and position it just about anywhere in your configuration
- Proprietary design creates the ability to tighten the webbing strap in either fixed-end configuration or a traditional loop configuration
- In the fixed-end setup, the integrated webbing loop attaches to an anchor point while the loose end can be placed over or looped around gear and around the other anchor
- Cam 1 allows you to easily slide the buckle onto the webbing and adjust the buckle placement easily and securely within your configuration
- Complete your configuration by wrapping the strap around your load and other anchor point, then inserting the webbing end through Cam 2 to easily tension the load in place
- This set up uses half as much webbing as traditional tie-down straps in a looped configuration and creates a 3-to-1 mechanical advantage
- For example, you only need to apply 50 lbs. of force to achieve a 150 lb. result, making Dual CamJam a simpler solution to complicated ratcheting cam straps
- Heavy-duty tie-down system comes with 8 ft. of webbing
- High-strength, high-density 1 in. polypropylene webbing has an integrated, bartacked end loop
- Sewn-in, color-coded and numerically labeled tags allow for easy identification of strap length
- Working load limit in fixed-end configuration: 400 lbs.
- Working load limit in loop configuration: 530 lbs.

Exceptionally Adaptable to Any Situation
Got this mainly for pick-up and trailer tie-down, but but useful on the ranch as well. The loop end slips through eyes on my truck bed easily enough, slips over cleats, and by putting the free end through the loop, can be anchored on beams, pipes, and branches as well. The dual cam lock allows the buckle to be positioned any where on the strap so you can get good access to the cams for tightening and release. The working side of the buckle works like a pulley, so we could get a 300-pound load up off the ground. I now have a couple in my truck all the time, and stowed one on the 4-wheeler, too.
Keeps fraying.
I bought these to strap down a kayak to the roof of my car. One frayed the first time I used it and returned it and got a new one. Now row of them have frayed on their second use. Total garbage and waste of my money.

Fantastic tool in your arsenal
This deal is awesome! If you know ropes and knots, this is essentially a fancy version of a ‘trucker’s hitch’ that is pretty common in the world of tying things down for transport. The dual cam buckle is very easy to adjust and makes this work easily. Keep a few in your vehicle for random needs, it really easy amazingly easy to use. For the reviewers with frayed ends, it’s wise to tie off the free end to keep it from flapping in the breeze. And bare ended strap will fray with enough opportunity, this is not a defect in this product.
Extra Versatility
I got a couple of these loose CamJam Tensioners to go with my Dual CamJam Tie-down System. I added the extra tensioner midway on my 1" strap to allow me to tighten the strap completely around one bundle of 2x4s in the trailer, then wrap and tighten the same strap around a couple sticks of pipe with a second tensioner, used to anchor the whole lot to the other side of the trailer.
Trust!
Trust is where it begins and ends with many things that require strength and security in holding things hard and fast. This Dual CamJam is the JAM! Other than than the webbing beginning to fray after two years hard use this system is one I recommend most when someone asks, “How did you do that?’ & “ Hey what’s that?” Thanks for great kit.
Love these after flipping buckle!
I love these! They're incredibly versatile and eliminate the need to keep lots of tie downs of varying lengths. One caveat: mine shipped with the cambuckle installed backward. It's super easy to turn it around though, then everything ties down tight. My boyfriend said "I don't even have a truck and I want a set of these!"
Tie downs that add tension and relieve stress
As a truck owner for over 26 years I’m prepared to get creative every time I put something in or on my truck. This is largely due to the lack of consideration and tie down points on the truck. I naturally gravitated to ratchet and cam straps since they’re more versatile. I’ve owned over 50 different variations and though there are some good designs available, the quality is always so poor that it affects the performance to the point of unsafe or too frustrating to use. Whenever a great maker takes on something simple, I get very excited. I ordered a set of double cams as soon as I learned about them. The quality is the best I’ve seen by far. They work a bit differently than standard cam straps too. Once you spend the 2 minutes studying the device the use cases start to arrive and evolve in your mind. If you tie things to your car these are an absolute must. If you can manage to keep track of them they will last a lifetime and ultimately cost less than the cheapest straps available. Spend your money in the hood.
Tight and fool-proof
I use this product to strap down ladders and equipment during transportation to and from construction sites. It's a lot easier to use than standard ratchet straps and if you just leave the cam on the strap, no resetting is needed. It makes things super quick to use.
CamJam Tie Down Disaster
I bought these tie downs to secure paddle boards on my car roof. Within the first use the webbing started to unravel and can no longer be threaded through the buckle. So disappointed as niteize are my absolute favorite products but this is truly just trash now.

Perfect tie downs for aircraft
Needed something light, strong, and with extended reach to work as tie down straps from my Cessna 182 aircraft. Perfect solution. Takes up almost no room and I can connect the straps in seconds. No more fuddling with ratchets and ropes that come undone.
