Got this tent earlier this year as an ultra lightweight hunting/tramping tent and to say I am blown away by this is an understatement!! Having the extra .5 to keep my gear out of the elements is a game changer! Super easy to set up and I have used this tent in some serious winds and it held up amazingly!! 10/10 product I’m looking forward to going away on more trips with this.
Used this tent daily for a month while bikepacking the Tour Divide trail it could not have performed better. Set up and break down are the fastest and easiest I have personally experienced. Having the extra ".5" of space is a game changer for not only storage but for comfort when you need to wait out the weather or if you want a slow morning
I sent it back. Nice tent but footprint was too large. I was hoping the 2 poles would qualify for "somewhat" free standing - but it was not. I've had a Z pack plex solo for quite some time and the non freestanding is becoming an inconvenience in sandy or hard surface. The Pitchpine did not solve the problem.
Setting up and taking down this tent is so quick and easy. The .5 extra space left plenty of room in the tent.
