Bought these shorts for both river/fishing in a kayak regularly and trips to the beach. Fit is to a little on the large size so if you are uncertain I would suggest size down. Material is lightweight and breathable and seems to be of good construction. I have only worn them a couple times so far but I am happy with them. The liner is a thin mesh. There are standard pockets and small zipper pocket on the back.

Yes , I recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love these shorts. I love the print and the fabric. Unfortunately, the fit feels a bit strange. I would have briefed a boxer-brief type liner rather than a brief liner. Still, once I was wearing the shorts for a while, the fit became less noticeable. Docked 1 star off for the odd fit. Otherwise, great shorts
