My favorite

This is one of 3, of my favorite all time ropes. It is the best all around rope i have ever owned. I use it for climbing and rappeling. It isnt my first choice for rapping but it does the job if you don't own a nice static. I haven't used it in a twin situation yet but im sure it would be fine. This is actually a pretty good choice for a beginner I my opinion.

Sterling had two chances to impress us with this rope. The first one we ordered was frayed at the mid-point between the bi-coloring. We figured it had to do with interweaving sheath fibers but when we contacted Sterling even they agreed it was extensive so they sent us a new one. Which was great until we took it out ONCE for a day of climbing and came back with a sheath that looks like this. Don't waste your time or money. I honestly thought my boyfriend accidentally bought a gym rope. 1 star.

Best Rope Ever

This rope handles unbelievably well, and is really good with abrasive textures outside. Sterling rope is all I buy now. The Velocity might be a repeat buy for a while. Get this rope!! The one star rating below, that picture isn’t even the Velocity rope. Don’t listen to em.

I love this rope. The thickness is great and it is easy to feed through the grigri.
