I bought this bag three weeks ago and so far it's the best work/laptop bag I've owned! I fly alot with a 15.7" laptop plus tablet. I brought my laptop into the store and found right away that while it's a somewhat tight squeeze due to the extruding battery, my laptop actually fits in perfectly, with no protruding corners to worry about! The tablet goes in the small pouch just in front of the laptop, which leaves two large pockets for notebooks, pens etc. Went on a 7 day trip this past week and I have the most clearance under the seat in front of me I've ever had, even when sitting in an aisle seat with the reduced foot storage. Very light-weight, very stylish. Can't wait to keep using this bag!
I've bought this bag for about 5 years ago and i'm surprised how durable it is! despite the constant beating delivered by my heavy use, it didn't even lost is form and not a single strand come off! I've use this bag everyday for school, gym, travel, outdoor activities under extreme climate conditions and it protected my laptop from heavy rain to snow storms very well! It's design is very on spot for daily use and materials used is super durable. Now i'm not kind of person who writes reviews for the products i use but felt like i owe this review to Thule because every feature of this product is overdelivered. Definitely recommend it if you want a backpack thats durable and practical.
I have used this backpack every day for almost 4 years now. I holds everything I need and protects it incredibly well. On campus at college I longboard and even having fallen off my board multiple times this backpack protected my laptop, tablet, sunglasses, and whatever else I had in it. I wouldn't say I'm rough on the bag but I also don't go out of my way to keep it from getting damaged, yet after 4 years of continuous use the only wear and tear is a small hole in the water bottle holder which isn't even big enough for a pen to slip though. I wouldn't recommend any backpack over this thing, its amazing.
Purchased this for an overseas trip. Initially I was very happy with what I got. I especially like the back zippered compartment that fit my 15.6" Mac Book Pro. The front compartment for glasses/smartphone was great as well. Right away I noticed that since the fabric is very stiff, the zippers had trouble turning corners when the bag was full. While going through Dubai, the zipper on the back of the pack that held the computer gave up the ghost and ripped out. I had to dump the bag and get a fresh one before I missed my next flight. I am VERY disappointed. It only lasted 11 days. Didn't have a enough room to carry it back on the plane, so in the trash it went...$100 down the drain, and another $140 for a bag at the airport.
Why would you put mesh pockets on a bag? Do you know what happens to mesh when it comes into contact with anything even remotely sharp? (Photo attached). What am I supposed to keep in the side pockets, tissue, marshmallows?
I've been using my backpack for traveling, on vacation and for just all around when I have to go out and taking more stuff with me
This pack serves its many purpose. This is what I've been using to work everyday and it's amazing how everything I need to bring with me fits inside this bag and I can pull them out easily when I had to (yes, including eyeglasses, keys etc.) Im looking forward to finding thule bags in a more playful, and maybe posh colors to better suit my personality ;)
I've been using this backpack for quite sometime now and it's really amazing. It carries all the stuff the I need for my work without a sign of breakage unlike other brands that I've used before in the same price range. The size is exceptional. Compact enough to make my daily commute easier.
Im a highschooler i thought this would be more for college kids who dont often have alot of text book and thick folders mainly like a lapton and couple notebooks but i easily fit my thick folders in there my school laptop and everything fits really well great quality everywhere on the pack
I got this backpack about two years ago now and it has been my favorite backpack of all time. Ive never had a backpack last more than a year and a half tops and this one is showing no signs of wear and i've taken this thing everywhere. Its perfect and does everything that I need of it.
