[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a FANTASTIC Carry On! This is way bigger inside than I ever thought possible. Not to mention, the Laptop Pouch and carrier is a lifesaver! I love that you can carry it on your shoulders like a backpack or carry it like a duffle bag! This is perfect for someone constantly on the go!
Two big thumbs up. My wife and I traveled to Europe from Dec 15 2025 to Jan 8 2026 and I used this bag to carry all of my clothes and some of my wife’s. I only used this bag and did not use any other carry on. Took 8 flights and 5 trains and carried on all flights except for one time I checked it. I was able to fit all my clothes and stuff in it including a travel blazer, winter coat, wool layer clothes, gloves, my computer, a portable backpack inside for grocery runs on the road, etc… even a deck of cards and 4 stainless steel cups for drinking wine/whisky on the train. This bag has lots of excellent features and makes light traveling easy. Some of my fave things: most of the time I kept the backpack straps inside and instead used the luggage dolly strap to keep the bag on top of my wife’s roller carry on luggage - so I could roll both of our luggage with one arm. I did deploy the luggage straps a couple of times and they were convenient and worked great. I also liked the passport pocket because it was protected but also easy for me to access. I travel a lot with my wife and I prefer to roll her luggage while using a duffle that converts to a backpack when needed. I also use a bag like this from Peak Design but it’s bigger and I deemed it too big for this light-pack journey with the risk of baggage-uptight European airlines and so I tried this Thule bag instead and loved it. Highly recommend if you travel anything like my scenario. Photos show what I looked like during travel… note that this is everything for me winter clothes and all my other stuff and some of my wife’s are inside my Thule that is on top of my wife’s roller bag. Other photo is of inside in which I used a compression bags to maximize space efficiency.
This bag is definitely interesting. It’s pretty much an identical version of the the Subterra with rollers, but instead has hidden straps to be used as a back pack. This will be used for non-flight travel since it’s too big to stow under the seat and wouldn’t be practical to lug from gate to gate at an airport. I like the design and style of these bags, bought this during the 25% off sale, otherwise wouldn’t necessarily need it. It does include a really slick computer/ipad bag which can be carried separately, it’s like a bonus bag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While larger than I was initially anticipating, this bag is perfect for one-baggers. I travel often for work and tested the Subterra 2 by transferring the entire contents from my carryon roller suitcase. Everything fit perfectly and the soft sides allowed for it to be compressed a bit more easily in the overhead compartment of the plane. It is a bit bulky as a backpack, but I would easily be able to fit 2 weeks worth of travel gear so worth it to me.
Psyched for this bag. It has so many features. Clean and classy. Perfect for a short work trip. Love the laptop case. Picked this bag because similar products from other manufacturers don't have one or more of the key features such as tuck-in backpack straps or a water bottle pocket. Can't wait to fly somewhere for work and leave my heavy leather Tumi laptop bag at home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I removed this backpack complimentary from influenster. Pros: the material is lightweight, feels durable and excellent quality. There are lots of pockets and compartments for organizing. It holds a lot of stuff. Cons: it's a large shape & size that's awkward to wear on a person who isn't very tall. It wouldn't work easily on public transit but would be fine for air travel.
I've been a one bag traveller for years. For a seven day trip, this is near perfect. Easy to load, easy to wear and plenty of room. If the interior computer insert had a water bottle holder, it would be perfect. Quality materials and easier to handle than my Arcteryx 28L Blade (even at 40plus litres, this is better and lighter).
This is a great backpack for work trips and general travel. It has good capacity and quite a comfortable harness system, but it absolutely needs a hipbelt at 40L. The addition of a stowable or removable padded hipbelt would easily take this to 5 stars
I added this bag to the rolling one. They are very very nice and have many great features. They are front heavy and tip forward often no matter how you pack them. I’m in Europe with them now and it isn’t easy.
