Excellent pack!!!
This pack is great in my profession. I am an Archaeologist and I work in what is called Cultural Resource Management, we conduct archaeological surveys prior to construction of anything that may impact the environment and any documented or undocumented archaeological sites. My job requires a lot of back country hiking that this pack allows me to succeed at. The size is perfect for hiking through tight vegetation, the weight is light and the build is comfortable. So comfortable I forget it is on! And the ease of access allows me to retrieve my equipment with speed, and it is easy to manage as I am definitely a minimalist when it comes to such. Well done and thanks Osprey!

This is the almighty pack of packs for an an enduro rider
I use this pack for everthing bike. Comuting, short rides long rides backcountry, and racing. It has never failed. It holds a full out fit for buisness casuale dress codes plus lunch. On race day or long rides with crazy descents it can cary everything needed. For The tool kit is secure, holds everything wanted or needed and sits low so not to affect balance much at all. It can hold 3 liters so the epic summer rides (like my attempt to ride up the Pikes Peak Barr trail) are feasable. Along with the many small stretchy pockets for snacks. All that is cool but common on mtb packs. What REALLY stamds out for me is that I can carry my rigid leg and arm armor plus a full face helmet on my back (wich allows for full speeds after all the climbing and way more comfortable climbs). I hit the ground at 20+ mph broken wrist but pack was fine. Another truly impressive feature of all Osprey packs is the almighty guaranty wich covered every piece of damage from my dog ate it to stupid clipping to plain worn out (all true stories but it didn't matter). I am a hard rider and my equipment feels it. I dabble in enduro racing and love to just ride hard and often and I need gear that keeps up, this pack makes the cut. After 1 year of ownership I can say for sure. This zealot will not give up his Zealot for anything!

Great Pack for Biking and Hiking
I really like this pack. Had it about a month and have used it for Kayaking, Commuter Biking and for just day hikes. It is fairly unique bag. The main compartment can only be fully opened once you've unclipped the shoulder straps from the back. After that you can fully unzip the main compartment down to the base. A little weird but does let you pack stuff down to the bottom. Here is my only complaint so far... there is no clip or some other way to neatly hold the hydration tube to the shoulder strap instead of the chest strap. I've found it to be a little awkward when taking off or putting on and the hydration tube kinda flaps around. I solved this by clipping a carabiner to the shoulder strap and clipping the tube into this. Otherwise a great pack!
Great Product
I used to have a camelbak for biking, but found it was too small. The Zealot has an opening on the back that can be used for a Full-Face Helmet or other things, side pockets, a stash pouch on the top for valuables, and a tool pouch on the bottom that is super convenient (comes with tool roll) the pocket for the reservoir goes the whole length of the bag so that when you open it, the whole back of the bag folds down. You can fit a bladder, jacket/layers, first aid kit and lunch in this pocket as well. There are also hip pouches that are good for a multi tool or leatherman, and two chest pockets on the straps that don't fit much. As always, you have amazing Osprey fit and finish, and it seems that the fabric is durable enough to take a spill on (though I have not tested that yet).

Great for many uses
I was hesitant to buy this bag because I was worried it would be too small for anything other than day rides, but I've found it to be perfect as an all around backpack for life. I am a teacher that bike commutes, and this can comfortably hold everything I need it to. The many straps allow you to clip/stuff/attach various items, and the stash pockets on the top and on the hip belt are incredibly handy. It feels incredibly sturdy and had held up to rides, hikes, field trips, and day to day use
Old in 2024, but gold
Excellent multipurpose bag. I use this as a commuter, hiking bag, and light travel bag all the time, it has just enough pockets for organization and the almost completely unique ability among bags I've encountered to hold odd-shaped, large, and long items in the three exterior pockets on the back. Often I have a water bottle on one side, my lunch and a book in the center pocket, and a small umbrella on the other side. You can REALLY exceed the 15l capacity of the bag if you're clever about what you shove into the exterior pockets. And the waist strap helps with some back issues I have to make this my preferred backpack for hikes and traveling. My only nitpick is that the main compartment is kind of awkward to access due to the location of the lifter straps, which clip onto the bag from the tops of the shoulder straps over top of the zipper. But I can load my laptop in and out of the bag from the side really easily if I leave the main compartment a little bit unzipped, and thanks to the strap attachments cinching the top together I don't have issues with stuff falling out of that compartment!
