Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, super versatile cycling pack! I use this as my go-to cycling pack. For years, I used a fairly large Camelbak model, which worked 'ok,' but this pack is light years more advanced. The cycling specific features, like the built-in tool compartments, pockets for my bike pump, shock pump (and even my hand saw), and easy to get to smaller pockets make it extremely useful. The reservoir slides in nicely, the magnetic secure mechanism for the hydration hose is like magic, and the suspension couldn't feel better. It's super comfortable and all the great precision adjustability that Osprey is known for in their larger packs is clearly employed with this pack. I'd recommend this particular model (even at this volume) to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Backpack is quality This backpack is quality, comfortable, and all the compartments in it are well thought out and useful. It is built for mountain biking, and it feels like it was designed by a mountain biker: the glasses pouch, the tool pouch, the minimalist compartments, the stretchy pocket in the back for gloves, the helmet holder... I had a problem with my bite valve almost immediately (it tore), and that's a problem. I wrote to osprey about it, and they responded saying they were sorry about that and it shouldn't have happened --they actually stood by their product-- and sent me multiple replacements immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind Ive had the Raptor 10 going on 3 years now. This is the best item (other than a night light) that I ha ve purchased for mountain biking. I fill the water bladder at the 1.5 liter mark the night before a ride. I like the magnet hitch and the bite valve. This unit gives me peace of mind when going on long adventures in the middle of the forest or rail trails. The 10 is the perfect size for me. Very thoughtful engineering went into this back pack. I like all the compartments. It is a little pricey but it is expected to last a lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack Love this product, took it to Lollapalooza this yea (yes I know not the items intent) but I tell you what, I was jumping, running, and everything in between and didn't even know I had it on. The pack stuck to your back and the water bladder was very conferrable and easy to refill. I have not taken it out hiking or biking but I do highly recommend it. I was able to put a rain jacket, poncho, regular sized water bottle, snacks, 2 cell phones and a charger pack it in. Great item, love Osprey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIght Weight, good crossover from bikin' to hikin' Purchased for my boyfriend with a herniated disc for light hiking so he can carry his snacks and water when his back is having a "good day" and it is perfect. Very light weight, comfortable, and room for snacks. It's been quite helpful for carrying smaller loads and great wight distribution. We're not finding everything pooled up at the bottom putting a ton of weight on the lower back, it's easy to spread stuff out. Straps are comfy, and we'd absolutely buy again, back pain or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for MTB This pack is amazing for mountain biking and I have taken it on a few hikes as well. The pack itself is very well designed so that it is comfortable and doesn't put too much weight on your neck or shoulders. The storage compartments are big enough for a small lunch, a pump, some snacks, and a packable jacket (the outside stretchy mesh pocket holds this nicely). I have used the lid lock mechanism to hold my helmet and it works well, although typically I'm not stopping for long periods of time to warrant doing this. The tool pouch is awesome, holds everything I need, and the hydration pack is great. One really nifty feature is that the hose magnetically latches to the sternum strap, making it super easy to grab and go without a hose dangling around. Lastly, the hip strap pockets are perfect for my iPhone 6S on one side and a couple gu's on the other side. Highly recommend this pack!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COmfortable and a great qulity used it in Big Sur, and at conventions even, great bag that comes with a 3L bladder and is very sturdy. I'm expecting to get a ton of use out of it. I have a bad back, and this is very comfortable to use.

The online specs say this has quick disconnect tubing, is that true?  I haven't seen that on other reviews/sites.  Does the Raptor 14 also have quick disconnect tubing?

Asked by: KHK
Yes, the reservoir included with this pack does have a quick disconnect tube.

The Raptor 10 has an internal frame. How soft is the infrastructure of the frame? Is it metal? or soft molded plastic?  I'd like to use this pack for alpine skiing, and wondered whether ribs would be punctured in a fall...
