Please note, this sizing chart is meant to serve only as a guideline.
Sizing downhill poles: Stand in your ski boots on a level floor. With your poles upside down—grips touching the floor—grab the pole beneath the basket so that the top of your thumb touches the basket. Your elbow should now be at a 90-degree angle. If the angle is less than 90 degrees, get a shorter pole. If the angle is greater, get a longer pole.
Sizing XC poles: Stand in your XC ski boots on a level floor. Place the pole tips on the floor next to your feet. The top of the grips should reach your arm pits.
Sizing skate poles: Stand in your skate boots on a level floor. Place pole tips on the ground with the pole shafts perpendicular to the floor. The poles should reach from the ground up to a point somewhere between your chin and your lips.

I'm a beginner to intermediate skier and bought these poles because they were the cheapest options (honest review here). I was a little wry about getting them because of the price difference between these and some other brands, but I've been very happy with them so far on multiple ski trips. The quality is great and I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase.
These poles were purchased out of necessity, due to a careless boarder who caused the breakage of a ski pole during a ski trip. They replaced a pair of Kerma Comps, the only poles I had been using for over 40 years. Needless to say, finding a comparable replacement for those old beauties was not going to be easy. The Rossi poles are good, with decent grips. I hate the straps though, and unfortunately there does not seem to be any way to replace the nylon web straps with the old leather straps from my Kermas. In summary, they work, and I can only hope they last as long as my last pair.
I bent one of my downhill ski poles and stoped in REI for a replacement. These poles are good, inexpensive and probably just a little heavier than carbon poles. They don’t have fancy straps but I don’t use straps so no problem.
Got these as my skiing intro poles. I knew I would be beating them up a decent bit and didn't want to drop much money on a pair I would probably replace next season. They've served that purpose well enough. No complaints here.
I always used a brand name pole, that was pure carbon. I found these, liked the light feel, and how they felt in my hands. On the mountain, they are awesome, and work as I want them to. Love the price, but feel like they perform as well as the $150 - $200 ski poles. Great product.
I’m not advanced enough to need ski poles $70-100. These are light weight, affordable, and does the job! The only downside is that SO many people on the Mountain have the same pole. Probably with the same mindset. I decorated mine with some color so I know which is mine.
The poles are lightweight and perfectly functional if you don’t need straps. But the straps are too small to fit over gloves (adult or kid sized gloves).
Good product at a great price. For the cost, you won’t find a better pole on the market. Been using these all season and still in solid shape.
Light, sturdy, nicely balanced, I'm looking forward to there finally being enough snow on the ground to actually put these things to use.
We've used this line "stove pipe" for several pairs as my kids grow. Have been a consistent and reliable choice.
