Best Use Kayaking
Pump Type Floor Pump
Maximum Pressure (psi) 21 pounds per square inch
Integrated Gauge Yes
Dimensions 22.5 x 9 x 4 inches
Weight 3 pounds
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gauge fell off The gauge fell off the first time I used it and does not stay on with the screw fitting. The hole left by the gauge means it won't pump so I have to screw it to just the right position each time. Pumps decently fast, but a poorly constructed product. Would not buy again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice pump but issues Second time I used it, the pressure gauge stopped working. Probably not a huge issue, but if I have to pay retail price it better work 100 percent for at least a few months. Took it back, didn't want to risk over pumping and blowing a seam on our SUPs

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty gauge I decided to give it a try despite reading negative reviews about the gauge. I ended up not even getting a chance to use it. The pump itself worked just fine but from the moment I first took it out of the box the gauge didn't work. Not worth the time and effort spent buying and turning right around to return it.

Is this pump compatible with a Aire Tomkat single whitewater kayak?

Asked by: psyresearcher
Your inflatable kayak has two valve types; Summit 2 valves for the hull and oral-matic valves for the seats, so this pump's adaptors are designed to work with your kayak.

Is the gauge on this pump accurate enough in the 1 PSI range of an Advanced Elements Expedition kayak?

Asked by: StevenMR
Short answer - no. I tried this for my AquaGlide inflatable kayak, which is supposed to be inflated to 1-2 psi. The Xcelerator pumps nicely, but the gauge is useless for low pressure. You can't tell the difference between 0, 1, and 2 psi. The gauge goes up to 30 psi. I called Advanced Elements, and they told me this was the wrong pump for low pressure kayaks such as ours, that it doesn't even read accurately until it gets to 6 psi or so. It's intended for high-pressure (10 psi or more) SUPs or kayaks.
