Great bag
We have used this bag hard for the last several years and it’s still in great shape. Highly recommend! We have 4, going on 5 kids and use this primarily as their suitcase and pack them all in individual colored packing cubes to keep it tidy on the inside. This thing can hold a LOT. For shorter trips we have packed our whole family of 6 in this 1 bag! It’s been all over Europe and the US, ski trips.. you name it. Hopefully we don’t outgrow it when #5 shows up! Haha
Best wheeled luggage on at REI
I was worried at 130 liters this bag would be too big, but I was wrong, because you can adjust to to the size that you are carrying by easily making it smaller. This is really a 50 to 130 liter luggage piece. I'm so glad I purchased this large of one, because one bag carries it all from short trips to long trips where I need more items. I've owned and destroyed (I should say the airlines did) all of the major brands, and Osprey has been the most reliable for me at least. This is as well built as they make them, and Osprey seems to have the best warranty. They will fix it for free, or replace it, all for the life that you own it. The first and similar Osprey wheeled luggage I gave to my son in excellent condition after about 12 years of abuse by the airlines. This 130 liter one replaced it, and I couldn't be more happy. I almost always can find faults with products I own, but this is one of those rare products I cannot find anything to fault. I usually only give reviews on products that give me trouble and upset me. But this time I feel I need to give credit where credit is do. It works so well I just take it for granite and basically just forget about it. Superior well thought out proven design. Please do not change this product Osprey!
An excellent bag!
I am an avid adventurer traveling for both work and pleasure. I was very excited to use this bag. I first used it for a trip to New Mexico back country. It held up great. I then used it for a deployment. The single bag was able to hold nearly everything I would have used two of my military bags to transport. I was disappointed that the top of the bag ripped during transit on US commercial airline. The bag integrity wasn't compromised and it is still usable. Since the bag did not hold all I needed I paired it with a smaller bag. The bag attachment loop was excellent. It was amazing how much control and maneuverability I maintained rolling the two bags together. I would definitely recommend this bag again.
Excellente travel solution
After comparing several big wheeled bags, decided that this Osprey is the best of the bunch. What sets it apart from similar products is the great pockets arrangement in the main compartment and the side "wings" that offer as a great protection of your goods and are great to make the bag smaller when its not fully loaded. Also is lightest than most and build quality is second to none. Customer Service from REI has been exemplary also, specially the girls at NYC store.
Well-made bag — great for gear & travel
I like using large rolling duffel backs for diving and ski trips. The Osprey Shuttle is the best designed bag I have owned. It worked great on a recent dive trip for hauling BCDs and regulators. I am looking forward to using the separate large collapsible zippered lower compartment for stowing ski boots for my next trip. I really like the red color I chose — it shows up great on an airport luggage carousel.
Best bag we have ever used
My wife and I have used these bags on many overseas trips. We usually travel for 3 weeks at a time and we can pack 3 weeks of clothes and essentials (even winter clothes) without a problem. You could actually exceed 50 lbs of stuff. We use packing cubes and that helps keep everything orderly. After many trips, we had one bag that the airlines bent the frame and the other they managed to rip a hole in the bottom. I sent them back to Osprey and they sent me two new ones. You can't beat that. I love Osprey and their bags!!!! They are also the perfect size for carrying onto trains. They have many grab handles too.

This is a great luggage peace. The only issue I have is that one of the strap holders broke on first use.
A bag that can hold all your gear, plus some
If you want a bag that can fit it all, this is for you! Compression straps for straightjacket mode are a life saver for ease of lifting and carrying bag, keeping it from being top heavy, or tipping over easily. The handles on sides also make it easy to pick up and load with shorter arm span. Because of this awesome feature it's easy to have this bag over weight without being completely full and still easy to lift and carry. Be prepared that a lot of flights (especially in Europe) this is going to have to go through oversize bag area due to the height of the bag alone!

My family purchased a similar Osprey bag several years ago that was nice and lightweight, but needed some adjustments regarding easy access/loading. This bag fixed everything AND was lighter (not to mention a GREAT color that so easy to spot in baggage claim!)...and then was drug right back down because the wheeling handle is as short as it is in the picture, making it a miserable bag to wheel around and travel with. Not sure why the designers landed on such a terrible feature, but it ruins the whole bag and keeps me from purchasing a second bag for myself.
