Also living in florida the weather kept changing on us that day . It rained , then it was hot , and extremely windy but the shirt was perfect for all type of weather and occasion!!
Wish We Had Found this Shirt Long Ago!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is a doctor of Chiropractic and this Camp Tide hirt allows him to bend and stretch and flex in comfort. The vent with mesh allows for his many movements with adjusting and keeps him cool since his work is so physical. The wicking material is awesome and does not require pressing! This one-pocket style has a nice professional-office appearance, and meets his need for a nearby writing pen. So far we have gotten 10 different colors with two patterns. This Camp Tide shirt helps him work comfortably, yet keep the professional look and give up his tie after three decades! (Can't link to my pics that I sent to our kids to show them)
Excellent Summer Shirt
One of my favorite shirts. Very light weight and airy. Drys super fast if it gets wet and keeps me cool on hot day especially these really humid days. The shirt feels pretty durable but saying that, my only concern is I noticed today a very small tear in the fabric on the front of the shirt. Not sure how it happened? In the future, I'll wash on delicate and hang to dry. I'll try to match the thread and see about stitching it closed. Aside from that, i really like the shirt and would purchase it again. I love the color.
My favorite shirt in the closet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEN’S PFG SLACK TIDE™ CAMP SHIRT is an amazing shirt that can be worn fishing, working outdoors in the heat, or just any old casual occasion. I like the material, as it not only wicks away sweat, but also has vents that allow air to blow through the shirt, cooling you off, as well as drying the sweat or water from the shirt. I really like the cut of the camp shirt, as it's designed with a flat hem on the bottom, which means it's made to be worn untucked! I started with one of these shirts, but now own all 4 colors that are available in my size! Highly recommended camp shirt! I want more of these :)
Great look but not breathable
This shirt has a great look to it and the material looks nice. However, if you live in a mildly humid climate I wouldn’t wear this shirt on a warm to hot day. This particular material does not breathe well at all and I found my self sweating pretty good under the shirt. I have numerous other button down angler style Columbia shirts and don’t have this problem with those shirts. On another note; definitely size down. I normally wear a regular XL and the regular Large size in this shirt fits me very well. I’m 6’2” and 220 lbs with fairly broad shoulders. Length of regular Large is perfect for me as well.
My First Columbia Purchase--First of Many
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shirt today at Academy, and I can honestly say this is my favorite clothing purchase I've ever made. And it sounds cheesy, but I'm so happy with this purchase I made a profile on this website just to write a positive review. I live in Central Texas where recently it's been upwards of 100 to 110 degrees lately (record temperatures) so I went shopping for something lightweight and breathable for work. This shirt performed well and above my expectations. In addition to its functionality it looks great too! I'm definitely gonna be getting more shirts and other clothes from this company. 5/5
Very pleased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one color of the tide camp shirt at a retailer and loved it. The store had only one color in my size. I instantly went online and bought two more colors. As with all Columbia shirts, they are very lightweight and cool. Here in the south all clothing sticks to us due to humidity...but not Columbia shirts and clothing. I specifically like this shirt because it has a "dressed up" look to it. Therefore looks much better with dress slacks than most other Columbia shirts. I have literally hundreds of Columbia items and this tide camp shirt is one of my favorites! Fit is perfect also.

Shirt for hot, humid bike commute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bike commute to work, but recently moved to a place that is hot and oppressively humid. Summer is here. Lots of sweat even just walking a few steps is a given. This shirt dries very quickly and is extremely well ventilated, which allows breezes to cool me off. It also protects well from the sun. I highly recommend the shirt as I don't like to wear technical bike clothes on my commute to work, but don't want to spend the day damp. The shirt looks fine in a casual workplace. I purchased several of these shirts in different colors to last me through the summer.
My "go-to" shirt in the summer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially bought one of these a couple months ago for a vacation in Mexico. Loved it so much I bought it in every color as soon as I got home. Nice and cool in the hot Texas sun no matter what color you are wearing, even the black stays cool. I love the SPF rating. I also like the fact that this particular line of Columbia PFG wear lacks all the extra pockets and loops that most of the PFG line has. It's a simpler less cluttered version that goes well with any shorts. Throw on some khakis and you are now sort of dressed up. My favorite shirts.
