Strong, roomy, comfortable, but bulky
I've had two of these for 7 years now. They're great chairs for camping: roomy, sturdy, comfortable: no feeling of sitting in a sling, no useless floppy armrests, relatively tall back. Great for dining, conversation, reading, snoozing. The only downside is that they're relatively bulky compared to softer, smaller chairs. As for another reviewers experience with fabric deterioration, they mentions protecting the fabric from rain, but doesn't mention sun. It's well known that prolonged exposure to UV rays will destroy any nylon material. The manufacturer makes a big deal out of mentioning that. I've had no similar problems at all: mine are in excellent condition with no tears or even major fading. Highly recommended, if you have the space to lug them about.
Fabric
I bought 6 of these very nice and comfortable chairs 4 years ago. They have been in use every summer since. After 2 years the fabric faded and looked well worn eventho the were used maybe 4 months in 2 years. This year the fabric on the seat of one of the chairs split at the seam and is not usable (we are not overweight). So now I have a set of 5 chairs. I have taken care of these chairs they were not exposed to rain and were stored inside during off season periods
