Keeps bugs away
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with Ben’s 30 Tick & Insect Repellent. I will continue to use this as my bug spray. It is 30% Deet and repels all the bugs while I’m hiking or just enjoying the outfoors. It has a slight scent, but it disappears as the product is absorbed into the skin. The bottle is recycleable and so is the packaging. Bugs don’t like it, but I definitely do.

Works great !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff works really well! I have been having trouble with gnats getting in my room through the air conditioning (we think) and they drive me crazy sometimes when I am trying to sleep. So I have sprayed this on myself a couple of nights (be careful to not let it get in your eyes, like anything else and your good) and they definitely have left me alone. Also have sprayed this at them and they have left. So far so good. I haven’t had any issues with the smell or anything like that. I would be careful when spraying it of course because it is strong enough and spray pretty well for the type of nozzle that it comes with it seemed powerful to me at least. Way better than the aerosol can sprays. Those make me think im spraying more than just bug poison/repellant. I have been really sensitive to the smell of aerosol for the past few years. I used to not care either way, not sure if gaining a sensitive snout comes with age or what but yeah. Anyway this wasn’t overwhelming for me so far. I like that I can stick this in my bag too. I also let my housemates use it and they said it worked very well. Thanks for letting me try this out! Perfect timing and much needed !

Helped with some of the bugs
I bought this in preparation for a climbing/camping trip in Ouachita National Forest. Arkansas hasn't had a deep freeze this year, and our campsite was primitive and buried in the forest. Needless to say, we were in ground zero for the tick apocalypse. This bug juice with 30% DEET just wasn't enough. I can't place all blame on the product, though. It would be like blaming a rain jacket because I got wet in a hurricane. Next time, I'll buy the more concentrated stuff, because standing around naked with your brother while plucking ticks out of each other was awkward. The good: didn't leak in my backpack. Definitely reduced insect occurrences. The bad: did not seem to have great effect on lone star ticks. It's DEET, so I wanted a shower.
Always leaks
I started buying this when REI discontinued its simple bottles of DEET Jungle Juice. I have never had a single bottle of Ben’s in any size or configuration that didn’t leak badly. And you do NOT want DEET over your food, books, batteries, or other stuff. C’mon guys. It can’t be that difficult to design a bottle that doesn’t leak. And If you can’t design a spray bottle that doesn’t leak, don’t produce it.
Keeps the ticks and bugs away!!🦟🐜🪲
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to test this tick spray while my fella was mowing the yard. As you can see, lots of grass and lots of trees that rub his shoulders. When he was done, not a single tick or bug bite!!!🤩🤩 That is RARE!! The spray has 30% DEET, which is safest for clothing, not skin. Keeps those bugs away, as promised!!

Seems to attract ticks
I applied this product per the instructions, specifically to the exposed skin on my legs. Within 30 minutes of hiking, I had a total of seven deer ticks on my legs and shoes. I was able to remove most of the ticks in time, but three of them were attached before they were noticed. I was hiking in the Ocala National Forest with temperatures in the high 70's, so not hot enough for the product to sweat off. I also had problems with deer flies while using this product.
Must Buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ben's Insect Repellent - 30 Percent DEET: 1. Highly effective at repelling mosquitoes and ticks, lasting for hours even in heavily infested areas. 2. Easy to apply with a non-greasy formula that dries quickly on the skin. 3. The 30% DEET concentration strikes a good balance between efficacy and safety for regular outdoor use. 4. The compact size makes it convenient to carry on hikes and camping trips. 5. Strong scent, which some users may find unpleasant. 6. Did not cause any irritation or adverse reactions on sensitive skin. 7. Provides reliable protection in tropical climates where insect-borne diseases are a concern. 8. Price is reasonable for the level of protection it offers. 9. The spray nozzle delivers a fine mist, ensuring even coverage without excessive use. 10. Reapplication might be needed after swimming or heavy sweating, but overall durability is impressive.

Ben’s bug repellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Influenster and Ben’s! I received this Tick and Insect Repellent spray right on time for Spring and Summer outings. I have used it in my backyard gatherings and will be in my backpack when I go hiking during season. Just a few sprays and you don’t have to worry about mosquitos or insects bugging you. I do recommend people try this product. I will purchase when I use the last spray.

Good sized bottle, I like the packaging and the bright orange color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good sized bottle, I like the packaging and the bright orange color. Good value for the amount you get. Super durable and non aerosol so you can leave it wherever you want really. This didn’t seem to repel mosquitoes as well as I wanted it to but maybe I just didn’t spray enough? The scent is like typical bug spray, I don’t mind it.

Worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so surprised! I thought this being a pump bottle and not a spray, that it would be difficult to/ annoying to put on, and I was wrong!! This bottle is small enough to fit in my purse, and gentle enough I can use on my toddlers. The smell wasn’t overwhelming, and it seemed to really work! Really nice for on the go
